Albion vs nootropics depot magnesium bisglycinate?

Nootropics depot magnesium glycinate is almost twice the price compared to unbuffered Albion magnesium from now or doctor's best. What's the difference then? Is one better than the other and is it worth paying the premium for nootropics depot since Albion is also very highly regarded and now/doctor's best usually don't fail the label claim for basic supplements like magnesium.

What would you guys choose.

Rate my stack.

Low moderate dose Methylphenidate for adhd (would've preferred dexmethylphenidate but it's not available in my country)

Guanfacine (main anxiolytic, and to counter bp/hr increase from methylphenidate)

Tofisopam (Pde4/10 inhibition, pro-cognitive anxiolytic)

Rasagiline (neuroprotective layer, and a mild dopaminergic to complement methylphenidate)

Mexidol (antioxidant, potentially enhancing mitochondrial output too)

PS this is a hypothetical stack for now since I haven't yet started taking these compounds yet. I do plan to start them soon ofcourse experimenting with them one by one first then stacking them later on.

---

Could add piracetam too in the future it's definitely a great nootropic but gives me nausea and sleep issues for some reason.

---

Supplements i take apart from these

Benfotiamine/methylcobalanin/p5p/methylfolate

Zinc/mag bisglycinate

selenocysteine

Nac

Creatine

Vit d3/k2

What's the catch with rasagiline and why isn't it more popular?

From what I've researched so far this is an exceptionally clean dopamine drug. It's obviously nowhere near as strong as stimulants, rasalagine is more like a mild gentle push compared to stimulants that cause a huge spike in dopamine but the fact that it does so (at least theoretically) without any trade offs or neurotoxicity risk at all is remarkable. On the other hand it's actually neuroprotective.

Mao-b inhibition itself has neuroprotective effects by reducing the production of dopal and hydrogen peroxide which are both reactive toxic metabolite/byproducts of dopamine metabolism. Apart from that its active metabolite has its own neuroprotective properties by having anti-apoptotic effects and boosting bdnf/gdnf. And unlike its sister compound selegiline it does not metabolise to l meth/amphetamines. And it's highly selective for mao-b even more so than selegiline so yeah risk of any harmful interaction causing serotonin syndrome is low and you won't need any dietary restriction either.

This should even complement beautifully with stimulants specially the methylphenidates (ritalin, focalin etc), the mild dopamine boost from adding rasagiline should allow you to use a smaller dose of stimulants and maintain similar effectiveness while also adding in a neuroprotective layer on top. I wouldn't pair it with amphetamines tho since that significantly raises cytosolic dopamine via vmat2 inhibition, that when combined with mao-b inhibition could at least in theory shut a lot of that dopamine towards auto oxidation.

But apart from that mismatch with amphetamines i couldn't really find any flaw with this compound. Yes it's not the strongest but it's exceptionally clean. So then what exactly is the catch with it? why is it not famous, barely anyone talks about it.
