ND 10% Tongkat Ali Goals and Experiences

I've used the 10% tablets off and on over the past 4-5 years. I take one tablet in the morning and sometimes a second tablet before bed.

Without having my test levels measured, it seems to have a profound impact on my hormones, whether it's increased test, DHT, or both. Libido is markedly higher, I sleep with a full erection just about all night, and I had a sex dream last night at age 60 that resulted in an ejaculation. The hair on my arms, hands and legs is getting heavier.

What are others expecting to get out of it, and what has been your experience?

Fatloss stack suggestions

For summer season , it's time to drop a few pounds.

From ND , i only have black ginger that aids fatloss.

Black ginger gives me mild energy and thermogenic effect .

Now DIM+ calcium d glucurate seems helps right now for tighter look , i tend have high estrogen. ( = bloated look from water retention).

What are you favorite ND products /stack for fatloss?

  1. Important they dont mess with sleep . I am on track recovering from terrible insomnia. ( also thanks to great ND products such smart ps and sleep support !)

  2. i am pretty stimulant tolerant. I can manage rauwolscine with no issues at the right dose ( max 3mg daily ). I try keep caffeine 200 mg daily , going max 400 mg.

  3. i do OMAD and intermittent 16/8.

  4. i do weekly 3 times full body heavy strength training and plenty cardio from lots of skateboarding.

  5. i probably have slow COMT. I need limit intake betaine and eggs = easily overmethylated.

Thanks!

Caffeine 200mg theanine 100mg capsules

Hi all,

Haven't ordered from ND in a while, but I've noticed that the 200 mg caffeine caps had the regular transparent capsules and not the red and blue ones that I was used to. Did ND recently make this switch over? Or could I have possibly been giving the 100mg caffeine capsules by accident?

Ginger (supercritical co2) needs a powdered version

This is a phenomenal supplement and so many brands sell them just in the powdered form. Can we see this as a possibility anytime soon?

S-Phenylacetyl L-Glutathione vs S-Acetyl L-Glutathione (SAG)

Can anyone tell me their experiences between the S-Phenylacetyl and just the S-Acetyl versions of the S- Glutathione? Is there acronym for the Phenyl version?

I was taking Setria and ran out and bought a bottle of SAG to try. I'll start it tomorrow. Then I realized there's a Phenyl version too. ;^)

On a side note, I've been experimenting with L-Tryosine, DLPA, and NALT. I find the DLPA to be more stimulating. I am not sure if it's the Phenyl group and if this would apply to the Glutathione as well.

TIA!

Sabroxy/saffron headache?

Hi, has anyone experienced headaches from saffron or sabroxy use? Normal dose. I don't usually get them headaches so wondering if its this as I've started those days ago. Thanks!

Saffron defo works, perhaps too well and this is the "come down" from it, but delayed by a day?

Sabroxy not sure what it does still.

Interesting New Study On Black Ginger!

Kaempferia parviflora Rhizome Extract Improves Skeletal Muscle Glucose Homeostasis by Upregulating the GLUT4 Signaling Pathway In Vitro and In Vivo

Just stumbled upon this new study that was published only a week ago, on Black Ginger. Quite interesting to see even further evidence on how powerful of a glucose modulating botanical this is! Also cool to see that it seems to increase GLP-1:

>The elevation of GLP-1 by KPE suggests a synergistic enhancement of the SIRT1/AMPK axis, potentially positioning KPE as a natural modulator of GLP-1-mediated metabolic pathways

There was also recently a discussion on here about compounds/botanicals that could potentially inhibit starch metabolising enzymes in our gut. Well, turns out Black Ginger is a seemingly potent inhibitor of these enzymes, even getting close to rivalling Acarbose:

>As shown in Figure 1A, KPE treatment significantly suppressed α-amylase activity in a dose-dependent manner. KPE at 100 μg/mL exhibited the highest inhibitory effect among the tested concentrations. Statistically, the inhibitory activity of KPE 100 μg/mL was comparable to that of the positive control, acarbose, with no significant difference observed between the two.

Certainly keeping in mind here that this is clearly a high concentration of Black Ginger that likely wouldn't be reached with normal doses. However, even at normal doses, it could very well have a significant effect on these starch metabolizing enzymes.

Definitely adding these new findings to the ever-growing list of why Black Ginger is one of my favorite botanicals! Quite the swiss army knife!

Alternatives to CBD that do NOT act on benzodiazepine-receptors

Hi folks,

the French authorities hate CBD (because of its association with illegal cannabis) and they sucessfully got the European Chemicals Agency to classify it as toxic for human reproduction on the grounds that at very high doses (much higher than those consumed by humans), it can be toxic for animals.

As a consequence, it's only a matter of time before ALL CBD products will be banned in ALL EU countries without exception, nobody will be able to buy CBD in the EU in the future, not even as a research chemical not for human consumption.

This greatly frustrates me as these CBD products were a game-changer for my pain and anxiety.

Now, I'm actively seeking alternatives but I don't want them to act on the benzodiazepine GABA A receptors as this can lead to tolerance and addiction.

Magnolia, bacalain, Ashwagandha, Coriander, Saffron, Apigenin, Isoliquiritigenin, and Gotu Kola are good but they act on benzodiazepine receptors, as shown by the fact that they are blocked by flumazenil.

Matrine is great but it's likely to be banned as it is an opioid with some abuse potential at high doses.

L-theanine doesn't have any effect on my anxiety, lemon balm only has weak effects.

Kava is wonderful but it causes severe itching in my case.

Do you know any alternatives that do not act on benzodiazepine receptors?

Rhodiola rosea is amazing!!

I've taken the nootropics depot 3% rosavins, 1% salidroside one for about 6 weeks now. It's completely put any mild social anxiety I had into remission!! By far the most effective supplement I've tried for this to date (I've tried saffron to some degree of success, high dose inositol + glycine + taurine, meriva turmeric, chamomile).

I don't find it to be physically stimulating at all, but on the two separate occasions I've taken it whilst sleep deprived it worked wonders, felt a lot more awake before I even got to taking my caffeine.

I think it took about a week for me to fully feel it's effects, and towards the last few days of using it it seems to have become slightly less effective.

I'm going to cycle off it now and onto panax ginseng root extract (to hopefully avoid building a tolerance to rhodiola...), hopefully this works as well as rhodiola did. Any thoughts on whether it's a good replacement for cycling?

I plan to do 6 weeks on rhodiola, 4 weeks off (using some other supplement in the "break").

In 20 years will most young men be getting prescribed testosterone?

Every year testosterone is dropping and in 20 years the average levels will likely atleast be in the 300s, so do y’all think since the levels will be statistically average mainstream doctors won’t prescribe testosterone or they will see a 20 year old man with testosterone levels in the 300 range and be appalled ?

Can tart cherry powder go bad?

Been trying to take this daily because I read it's great at promoting akkermansia in the gut.

Since taking it I have been having dark coloured violent liquid shits, but no other issues that would come with say, stomach poisoning or norovirus. I've taken some high % carvacrol oregano oil just to be sure.

The reviews for the powder state it's "bright red messy powder that stains". Mine is basically black. In fact it looks now different to activated charcoal.

I've had the pot opened for a while and there's no expiry date on the pot which is odd because there seems to be for all other ND products. Edit: it's 9/27

Edit: it's also supposedly great for DOMS however I've been getting DOMS so it doesn't even seem to be working?

Bring on the infiniakker or whatever you call your upcoming akkermansia supplement!

Thoughts? Thanks.
