Infinifiber 6 month results...

started with one scoop a day, empty stomach...moved to two scoops a day after 4 weeks, but divided. one early morning on an empty stomach, one later in the day with a meal.

smelly farts, but otherwise well tolerated, no bloating, no reflux/heartburn as some fibers are known to do.

my diet is clean and was pretty much unchanged. noticeable bloodwork changes:

I/m older and my LDL has been static between 129-135 for years...it dropped to 121.

my hdl is always somewhere in the 60's, dropped to 51!

my total cholesterol dropped, but it was withing my 5 year range of 180 to 202

my triglycerides were in the 50's, normally 65-76 over the past 5 years or so, so a drop too, but mine are always good.

the results actually increased my cardiac risk because of the disproportionate drop in hdl to ldl and totals. Not sure what to make of this.

Is Fusion company wide?

they have to be losing gobs of money on this. i see bag after bag with one or two items in it, at a discounted price versus the in store price ( some 30-50% lower), than have to be picked, bagged, and driven 20 miles away for an $8 ring.

New $10.99 radiator cap changed everything!!

72 chevelle, 350, sat for 33 years. started without a problem with a new battery, but was running hot and the thermostat housing was leaking. Mechanic was miffed, said he was sure he fixed the issue. for months, starting the car cold, the tach would slowly ramp to over 3,000 and i would have to tap the gas to get it to drop. and....the thermostat housing would leak. once driving, the temp was 210-220 all day every day. (it's a very old aftermarket gauge, so figured it could be inaccurate, but doing some research also led me to believe that was ok at that temp.I felt the car was running really hot regardless and I would open the hood for a bit after pulling in the garage. (not a daily driver, so hopefully i didn't do any long term damage driving at these temps if they were that high).

fast forward to yesterday. the car is going to be away for a few weeks getting painted so I figured I should add some antifreeze since I know it's been leaking. Open the radiator and there was some brown gunk on the cap as well as on the top of the antifreeze (changed and flushed October 2025 when we got the car running again for the first time in 33 years). There were also tiny bubble in the antifreeze, maybe looked like it was partially frozen (slushie??) if that makes sense. Immediately think cracked block or damaged head cylinder, but I checked the oil and it was pristine. (also changed oct 2025 and only have about 300 miles on it). took a picture of it and googled the picture...cylinder head....block....or??? radiator cap lol. It's probably 40+ years old, so a trip to autozone for a $10.99 duralast...needed it right away because it was going away and I can't believe it. The car was literally thanking me immediately when it started lol...with the choke on it was idling low 2's and purring...operating temp?? 160 (again could be off, but it wasn't 210+!!!. and the biggie? thermostat housing stopped leaking!!

once I get it back from the body/paint shop, I'll flush and fill, but I never in my wlidest dreams thought a radiator cap could have that much impact on the operation of the engine. thank you thank you thank you google photos

Have they upped the hourly wage caps for L1-3 in the Northeast?

The prices of almost everything are up anywhere from 5-30+% and now the CV rotisserie chickens are smaller. I guess they get those wholesale by the pound, not by each? or are all the chickens on GLP1's to save on feed?

Did they change the recipe for chesapeak bay shrimp salad?

i've about had it with this company. lemme guess, outsourced it to someone who thought old bay seasoning was too expensive? whatever or whoever allowed this should be terminated.

and don't think I haven't noticed the smaller rotisserie chickens either.

i kept the faith for years with this company, but they are 100% selling out to the almighty dollar. should change the name to wholemart.

Considering going on a GLP to save on groceries…

i can pay $149 a month, but figure I can save over $250 a month in food and alcohol. that’s $1200 a year into my pocket. not overweight, but it effectively curbs appetite.

Infinifiber with or without food?

Just wondering about the positive/negative effects of taking this on an empty stomach?

same with meals? it's expensive so i want to get the most benefit. as with some of there other supplements, nootropics is vague with the preferrred method of ingestion, it would be nice to know a little more than "can be taken without without food".

Hair color for older guys....where?

I'm going to be 60 in August and the greys are coming in hot. I keep myself in good shape, but haven't paid for a haircut since Covid. Yes, I've cut my own and it's nothing a hat can't fix. I don;' have flowing locks like Fabio, but I still have a decent amount of hair on my head.

That said, I think it's time to abandon the dry shampoo with color added, it makes my ears brown, gets on towels days after I spray it and is now $14 a can.

who can help make me look 54 again?

72 chevelle malibu, i swapped out a perfectly good 307 in 1986 with 37k on it when I was 18. i had a local shop with a bunch of kids working there build me another engine. i have zero reords of what they did, but i vaguely remember 327 bored 30 over built ot 350 lt1specs? holly 750 vacuum secondary, i think. added something to the transmision, some type of torque converter maybe so that i could shift off the steering column almost like a manual. i put about 50k on this motor bettween 1986 and 1993, then it sat. always had an iise with stalling in damp/wet weather, no idea why. also alwys seemed to run really rich, black soot tailpipes.

fast forward 33 years later-new battery, bypassed the 33 year old full tank of gas and she started right up. rebuilt the carb, but now I keep having stalling issues in drive. im using premeum fuel, but cant help but wonder if this carburator was always too big for this set up. having the rear brakes done in a few weeks and converting the front to disc.

any help on finding out exactly what my set up is here and what, if anything i can do to this engine/transmission to increase performance at this point? or do i jusy start over?
