1974 violin + silicone string + pickup

This a mountain/Appalachian "stick" dulcimer that I electrified to be played through amp.

Features:
- diatonic frets - impossible to play a bad note!
- 1/4" output jack
- 3 metal strings. Lowest is on top.

i added 5 switches that connect various points, and a touch-point

This uses a magnetic switch. There are 3 magnets, for you to attach, under the spinner. When a magnet passes over the switch the effect is activated.

I made this from a vintage brass bugle. Make noise into the mouthpiece, and it outputs lo-fi digital brassy sounds!
