Hi, I’m currently preparing my documents for the DSU application, and I have a question I’d like to clarify.

After graduating from high school, I studied for one year as a first-year university student in Mongolia. Now, I am applying to study as a first-year student in Italy.

In the family information form I am filling out, there is a section asking about my employment/status. Since I am currently neither working nor studying at the Mongolian university, should I write “Not employed” or “Student” in that section?

Also, I’m wondering whether my previous one year of university study in Mongolia affects my eligibility to apply as a first-year student for DSU.

Could you please advise me on how I should fill this out? Thank you!

The DSU application deadline is August 5, and I’m currently getting my ISEE Parificato through Digita CGIL. I’m planning to submit all my required documents to Digita CGIL on July 28, but I’m not sure how long it will take for them to process everything and when I will actually receive the ISEE Parificato certificate.

My plan is to submit my DSU application on August 4, one day before the deadline.

Do you think this is okay? Can I submit my DSU application on August 4 while my ISEE Parificato is still being processed, and have the certificate completed afterward? Or does the ISEE Parificato need to be finalized before I submit the DSU application?

Has anyone been in a similar situation at Polimi, especially international students applying with an ISEE Parificato?

Hi everyone,

I’m an international student applying for DSU financial aid at Politecnico di Milano. My family’s income and assets are outside Italy, so I’m currently in the process of obtaining an ISEE Parificato through Digita CGIL.

I recently received a notification from Polimi saying that my ISEE could not be found in the INPS database and advising me to submit a new DSU for University Use through INPS or a CAF.

I think I may have caused this notification because I unknowingly clicked “Continue” on the Polimi online service before I had completed my ISEE Parificato process through Digita CGIL. I’m an international student with family income and assets abroad, so I believe I should be following the ISEE Parificato procedure rather than applying for a standard ISEE through INPS.

My current plan is:

• Gather all the required documents tomorrow
• Have them translated and apostilled
• Submit everything through Digita CGIL on 24 July
• Hopefully receive my ISEE Parificato certificate around 3 August
• Submit my DSU application through the Polimi online service before 5 August

Do you think I can make it in time?

Also, does anyone know if I can submit the DSU application before receiving the ISEE Parificato certificate, or does the certificate need to be issued first?

And regarding the notification from Polimi about my ISEE not being found in the INPS database, do I need to do anything about it, or can I just continue with my ISEE Parificato process through Digita CGIL?

I would really appreciate any advice from anyone who has gone through the ISEE Parificato and DSU process at Polimi. Thank you!
