Leave the monitor plugged in or unplugged when not in use

Hi, I’d like to know if my monitor could get damaged by unplugging it after use. It wouldn't be a big deal to just leave it plugged in, but I am worried it might get damaged by a power surge. Since I’m not sure if the monitor shuts down completely when I turn it off, I want to know if unplugging it causes any harm.

Right now, I have it connected to an extension cord, but I plan to buy a surge protector and later either a

UPS or a voltage regulator—whichever is best. The model is the LG UltraGear 25G523B-B.

Finally, 4k recording with HDR

Finally, HDR can be used at 4K30fps. It's disappointing that it's only at 30fps and doesn't allow stabilization, but they seem to have fixed the recording problem.

And the video encoder format is also blocked, and it's a Nubia Z80 Ultra. I hope that future updates (if they ever come) will improve that. Because it has more than enough power.
