Hi all, I was just added as a new Mod for an existing sub that has an issue with bot posts farming for Karma. What rules do you suggest to limit this problem? Must have a Karma over X? Account age over a week? Either of those would ban the bots quickly, but - I don't know best practice and how to make the rule. I'm sure it has to do with Automod, but - that looks a lot like coding - not my forte. thanks!
Just curious - I had a wired system built into my house when I bought it 20 years ago. But - replaced the windows - so - no more wired sensors there anymore, and - nothing is still attached to anything anymore. Does wired make sense anymore anywhere, or is every new system - even on new construction wireless now? Thanks!

Hi - I have a Firewalla Orange I have been slowly tightening down over the last 2 months. Things are great - I have a minor issue - hope you all can help me out.
I turned on the VPN client and configured it correctly - works great - I send my traffic though another server in my country that is nowhere near where I live (US). Works with minimal lag on SurfShark. But - some members of my house - me included, can't get to some sites with the traffic turned on to go through the VPN - Specifically www.macys.com and www.imgr.com. I read that both of these are not very VPN friendly. If I were on my normal VPN client on my laptop, I'd just toggle it off. But - that's a bigger hassle with the VPN turned on at the Firewalla level - especially for other members of the family to do, as I'm the only one that can configure it. In the desktop client, I can tell it some sites to not send through the VPN - but - I can't find the same on the FW side of the world. Any ideas here? Thanks!
So - took my 2020 RAV4 Adventure in for two big service items - the roof rail leaks and the coolant leak issues - car has 65K on it - never really had any big issues, and these are fully covered - so happy about that. They gave me a loner - a 2025 RAV4 base model. Nice.
My question - a couple of nice things on the 2025 vs. my 2020. The dash (between the gauges) shows CarPlay NAV directions. My 2020 doesn't. Is there an update that will give me that? Same with the top of the dash - it displays my speed digitally - my 2020 does not. Also - the radio display is much nicer than my 2020 - again - is there a flash upgrade? I don't want to buy new hardware. Also - the fact it has Wireless CarPlay built in vs. the adapter I bought for my 2020 is nice. Weird they kept the center dash USB as USB A and switched the rest of the car to USB C, vs going all USB-C. Thanks!
