Would this fall under plurality?

I have a question about a certain experience. It's not something that's happening to me anymore, however it is how I used to see myself.

Some time after I had formed, I began to feel as though, at some point, I had suddenly became an entirely different person (this was before syscovery, so I didn't know that was actually true). I did have memories of a time before that, but they felt distant, like they weren't mine. I concluded that I had experienced an "ego death" and became a new person as a result, and the person who was there in my body before me was someone completely separate.

I knew what plurality was, but I didn't feel like I was plural. As far as I knew, I was the only person in my body, there was just another one before I took over.

So, my question is, if someone were to experience being a sort of "series of people" over time, like I described (so, one person is alone in their body, then another one appears and takes their place), rather than multiple people sharing a body at once, would they count as plural?

I'm wondering because most people's undestanding of plurality bolis down to "there are multiple people in your brain", but what I'm describing is more like "there is only one person in your brain, but they can be replaced by someone else"
