Ok So.. let me start with what I understand so far:

1) The game is about collecting the most points (chips) from the enemies

2) The enemies cards are hidden but everyone can see mine

3) Cards are numbered 2-10 and there is no 1 card. There are also cards with letters but not all the letters are there

4) Emojis influence gameplay and they make the chip values more likely to be high if you press 🤡 and 👋 while it's someone's turn

Now for my questions:

A) Why is it called poker and what is the etymology of this word? Does it originate from latin or is it more commonly related to a fire poker to jostle embers?

B) How do I win? I want to win. I don't want to lose?

C) Are there any bosses or lives? Also... if there are lives do I respawn using chips?

D) I tried playing shootouts but apparently I need chips. Can I buy chips with real money. There is no way to earn daily chips. Trust me I have looked into it on Google dot com

ANYWAYYY Please help me understand this game. I plan on joining the WSOP Main event next year and could use SOLID advice. NO AMATEURS! Pros only please!

As the title says... I no longer have a home to live in thanks to this silly Reddit poker game. It might sound funny to some of you but a gambling addiction is no joke. Everyday I logged in, gathered up all my free chips, and then blasted off and away. Some days I'd win heaps and then raise the stakes and move up tables. The end result was always the same... Right back to zero.

It's hard to restart life from rock bottom but I had pretty much done that after years and years of suffering from drug addiction (2 Pabst Blue Ribbons a night) and mental illness (see 2 PBRs a night). I had my own place and even reconnected withy estranged wife and two kids. Life was starting to go well. Until I found this app.

Everyday the same thing. Locked in for countless hours. Grinding and 3-betting with any suited cards. If I hit zero I'd beg my wife for some money to restock my chips (the mods stopped providing for me but I have other means to get chips). I didn't think I had a problem ...until today... I thought I saw an opportunity but it would actual be my downfall.

**THEY RAISED THE STAKES OF THE VEGAS TABLE**

Seeing my opportunity to win it all back with higher stakes from the get go I quickly stole my wife's credit card, liquidated my kids college savings, and sold my car. I texted sashimi and after a few minutes of insider trading I had enough chips to restart my life fresh... Ten minutes later I had lost all 3.5 billion. A couple rough all-ins will do that to ya.

I looked around and the wife and kids had left the cardboard box. Chip Balance zero. Dog dead. Car broken. Job fired. PBR empty... Right back to zero

Allow me to formally introduce all of you writhing maggots to the 'Wonderful World of Wheel'! Little known fact; spin the wheel and it gives you money. Every damn day I wake up knowing that the wheel has my back. The wife and kids can leave but the wheel can't.

So let me lay down how it works. At the Wonderful World of Wheel you click a button and the wheel spins and you get free chips. It's amazing. It's simple. It's the Wonderful Wheel. Sometimes it even gives enough chips to support my crippling alcohol addiction... And if I'm REALLY lucky it even gives enough chips to pay rent (same cardboard box mentioned in previous posts).

The wheel is an intransigent unobjective device. A modality of which we perceive, for to say, a click of a button and hither and thitherto the chips, of which our world is ran upon, are delivered, to you, the dear spinner as if it were to have ever been anything other than exactly what it should be... Wonderful.

Did you know that spinning the wheel actually earns you chips? And I don't mean just some measly 500 to 25,000.

When you land a jackpot and share the post to reddit, all of the subsequent people that click your post gain 1000 to 3000 chips. HOWEVER, for each person that clicks on your post you passively earn chips in PROPORTION to your chip total.

I'm not exactly sure on the specific thresholds or ranges, but I know if you have over 2 million and someone clicks on your post and earns money, you in turn will earn 10,000. That could also be in relation to whatever value the person who clicked on your post won. I'll need to do more testing.

Could a multimillionaire or billionaire please test the payout values and spin the wheel until you get a jackpot? I imagine the passive dividends could be in the millions at that point. Payouts only grow in size it seems. Also it's totally worth it because it only takes 30 seconds and from my last jackpot post I 'earned' a little over 300,000 chips just for doing nothing but getting a lucky jackpot.

Hello pokey social friends! I'm new to the game and I can't stop losing. I understand the very basics like any suited cards are good and that if the numbers are next to each other you will get a straight... However I keep losing. I play most of my hands and I always make sure to raise by the smallest amount so that other people get scared and fold.

Does anyone hav any advice? I only started playing a few days ago and am looking to improve my game so that I can join the WSOP Main event next year (money is not a problem, I have 40 thousand in equity)

Perhaps it's spokes are bent? Maybe it has a flat tire? Shiiieetttt, mayhaps it ran over a nail. Me thinks that near nobody has hit a jackpot in two days. Where is my stimulus package? Am I to play with only 1,500 chips?

Enough of this "we need higher stake tables" nonsense. We NEED lower stakes tables. 12,000 chips max buy-in and TWO THOUSAND for the lowest? What the fuck I am? Scrounge MacDuck? I don't have these chips. I will never have these chips. I'm to mortgage my wife and kids as down payment to play on the Vegas table?

The wealth disparities in this game are, quite frankly, astonishing and morally reprehensible. The lower class spin the wheel and get a measly 500 while the fat cats at the Monaco table waste billions chasing 2 7 suited. It simply is not fair.

My skill is not properly reflected in my chip value because THE MAN keeps me poor. THE MAN is intentionally suppressing my power levels, spiking my cortisol, to keep me hungry and begging. If nobody spins the wheel then the bottom class dies, and that's what THE MAN wants.

Are you gonna be a fat cat with tens of thousands and not spin the wheel? Or will you be a broke man like me and ask for lower stakes? Doesn't matter. Wheels broken!

Can we please get a report function?

I've had a few games like this now, but just now takes the cake.

Some players place a normal sized amount of chips Preflop, forcing everyone else to either fold or call. This forces the BB and SM to either fold and lose chips or call and stay in. Just now, at the Vegas table, I had someone enter with 12K Chips (Max amount), and do that repeatedly for like ten rounds.

I wanna be able to actually play some **FUCK em' and SHUCK em'** poker without being forced to always play slow and make proper sized bets. Either go all-in or fold. It's simple. Yes, I have zero chips, yes, I will get more free chips tomorrow to continue to go all in recklessly. I do not want to spend my chips playing a slow boring scuffed version of this game.

I wanna actually play the game as god intended and not some slow play, two third pot raise, BS that costs me precious time more often than not. I'm NOT building my wealth steady, and I don't WANT TO keep wasting my time on slow BS like that.

Why do y'all bother down voting the daily challenge and the wheel spins? Do you hope that other people won't see them so you hide them at the bottom? Are you scared of other players getting free chips?

Or maybe you get so aggravated at missing an obvious daily challenge round that you downvote out of spite. Seriously what is the logic? Everytime I go to do my daily challenge or wheel spin (currently on break just farming chips and not playing) it's all the way at the bottom- sitting at zero karma.

If you are one of these downvoter people PLEASE message me under this thread. I am curious to see what your logic is and how many chalk marbles you have rattling around in that expansive head of yours. If you're NOT a downvoter how about you turn yourself into an upvoter. Simple. Respectful.

I was once a badass skeleton flexing my 2/7 on all the billionaires... Now I'm some corny lil soy-boy weak skinned min raising IDIOT sexy skeleton having no card holding toothy grinning goofy looking smiley lil non all-in doing weakass IDIOT. It boils my blood (I have none, for I am a skeleton, unless you count plasma which is not really blood. Trust me I donate plasma 4 times a week which is actually illegal but I need to get my funds up so that I can continue to Venmo the mods money so that they can send me more chips. If you have a fake ID you can actually register at two different plasma centers. They will ask for social but depending on the plasma center they won't cross check your ID ((fake)) and your social so you can bypass the maximum donations of twice a week. I'd recommend protein maxing though because the plasma process is quite rough. I do like when the machine pumps cold water back into me and I can feel it in my veins. My strategy for protein maxing is to use my old college ID ((ROLL TIDE)) to get into the cafeteria on campus. It's easy all you have to do is convince the person up front that you've transitioned into the grad student program but haven't gotten your new student ID yet and they usually let me slide. If that doesn't work you can stand on the edge of the lightpost at the corner of the dining hall and beg someone eating outside to let you in.) when the mods make these changes and ruin my image. I AM A GOOD POKER PLAYER. It's just the unfortunate circumstances that keep me down. Any way... I've lost several million, 5-6 I'd say, from the recent glitches.

Spin that fucking wheel and post your jackpot so a bum like me can get chips! The chips don't create themselves! I'm sick and tired of BILLIONAIRES not spinning the FUCKING wheel!!! It is your civic duty to give to the poors such as myself! Or at the very least spin a jackpot, post it, rake in the residuals, and help out your common man.

I bow, I kneel, I scrape for my fucking chips. I work hard! I once even watched a replay (sickening and boring) in hopes of getting more chips. I'll do anything for chips, so why can't the fat cats in the upper 1% of the tax bracket spin a FREE wheel for FREE chips? Is it beneath you? Do you think you're Sashimi_rollin_? You're only me but with 1,256,500,400 chips!
