I wonder why they didn't use this part in the final product

Like seriously, in the original, it was just zoomed in on the goons hanging on the street light which looked super awkward. And before anyone says it's because it shows his face, remember that the next scene that shows Peter after this he pulls up to MJ's play in the exact same car. So that doesn't answer anything.

So why did they leave this part out?

Jameson's retraction in Spider-Man 3

The cover photo of last week's Daily Bugle, featured New York fixture Spider-Man running from the scene of a bank heist and carrying a bag of money. It looked to many that Spider-Man was committing a crime, instead of fighting one.

Today, the Bugle had discovered this image had been secretly "doctored" by ex-Bugle photographer Eddie Brock who submitted this image to the paper as authentic. "This is deeply regrettable," said Daily Bugle Editor-in-Chief J. Jonah Jameson. Brock was promptly fired the moment the forgery came to light, he added.

"There is no evidence that Spider-Man was involved in the bank robbery and the Bugle apologizes for any implication of his wrong-doing in the matter," Jameson said. "To airbrush Spider-Man into a photograph and make it look like he is a criminal - that's just something we would never do here at the Bugle."

(Idk what else to title this)

  1. MIB3: Agent J had stolen a car to go to Coney Island to stop Boris. But he gets pulled over by the cops who are assuming he stole the car without any valid reason. After they get neuralized, J tells them that just because a black man drives a nice car doesn't mean it's stolen. But then admits to stealing the car but not because he's black.

  2. South Park (S7;E9): Cartman tells Tolkien to get a bass guitar out of his parents basement to which Tolkien says they don't have one. Cartman then replies that they're black and they should have one somewhere. Turns out they did have a bass guitar. Later on when Tolkien is asked to play the bass, Tolkien says he can't. Cartmen tells him he's black and that he can play the bass. Tolkien is starting to get annoyed with Cartman's stereotypes but then plays via his request. When he realizes he actually can play, all he says is "God Dammit."
