So normally, in other daws, once I set up a loop, I can then record over it, actually similar to the prior versions of reason. It normally would just overdub it to the clip. But as you can see from the picture, it just creates a new frankenstein clip. It's strange because if you add notes via the piano roll it will propagate but somehow recording makes a whole new clip.

This is especially annoying because I want to go in, create a clip size and repeat it, then play what I want. Like hats 2 bars, kicks, 4 bars, etc. But this makes that impossible. Not sure what use case they were thinking of there.

Some of the other qualify of life improvements are great but as is, this is mostly useless to me at least.

A year ago I took a trip around the world and spent 2 months in Da Nang, Vietnam (great place!). There are tons of Koreans there on vacation and one day I went into a really popular restaurant. I sit down and who is setting next to me? SNOW!

Well, it took me a while to realize it, and then also, I wasn't totally sure at first, because his hairstyle seemed to be pretty popular with the younger Koreans.But after a few minutes I realized it was him. He was there with a beautiful Korean woman, I assume it's his wife/girlfriend.

I wanted to say hi, but I just sat down, and I'm right next to him, so if he doesn't want to talk, or can't, it would have made it really awkward for the rest of my meal, and I wasn't feeling very well to top it all off. Plus of course, he's probably trying to get a break since he's on vacation.

I was wondering if anyone knew if he actually spoke any english at all. I mean I could have just pulled up a picture of a shuttle and he'd know I was a fan but well, he and I left at almost the same time but he and his date walked away pretty quick and I didn't want to follow.

Still a cool experience. If anyone knows it'd be greatly appreciated.
