YSL MYSLF EDT Intense is getting returned.

YSL MYSLF EDT Intense is getting returned.

It smells good….very similar to the MYSLF EDP, just lighter, cleaner, and more musky. The scent itself is pleasant, but it stays very faint on my skin. You get a little projection for the first 30 minutes, then it settles into more of a clean musky skin scent.

If you like subtle, intimate fragrances with that fresh “your skin but better” vibe, you’ll probably enjoy this. But for me, already owning the EDP and the other flankers made this one feel unnecessary, especially given how soft the performance is. I’ll be returning it.

Picked up Cardamom & Apple for $24 and this has no business smelling this good.
Opening hits with crisp apple and smooth cardamom. Not sharp, not synthetic, just clean, slightly sweet, easy. Within minutes it settles into that familiar lane: lavender and tonka warmth. If you know JPG Le Male or YSL La Nuit de l’Homme EDT, you’ll recognize the vibe immediately.
This sits right between them. It has that La Nuit style cardamom smoothness and the Le Male-style sweet, creamy drydown, with a fresh apple twist up top that keeps it from feeling dated.
No, it’s not complex. It’s pretty linear. But it smells good the entire way through, and that’s the point.
Performance on my skin is solid for the price. Not a monster, but not disappearing either. Easy 7-8 hours, decent projection 4-5, then sits closer.
It wins on being mass appealing without being boring, with zero harsh edges. It’s easy to wear and you can overspray without thinking. Where it falls short is obvious, it’s not niche quality, it doesn’t evolve much, and it’s not replacing your heavy hitters.
But that’s not what this is.
This is a grab-and-go, no-thinking fragrance that punches way above $24.
Honestly, this is the kind of bottle you keep reaching for more than you expect.
