Motion to relocate minor child

As the title reads. I have filed a motion to relocate my 5 yr old daughter. Currently, I have sole physical and joint legal. The father sees her every other weekend and we have alternating holidays. The proposed long distance schedule wouldn’t lessen his time with our daughter. It would just be structured differently. My husband accepted a job offer at UC Berkeley. This was a position he couldn’t just let slide. We will be provided free housing (3bd, 1 bath) and the job itself would pay roughly $25k more than the one he has now. I think overall, it would improve her quality of life and she already has an established residency primarily with me. I take care of her day to day needs/wants.

I feel fairly positive about this motion but of course I am scared. Anyone have positive experience with relocating?

Am I (26F) rude for saying this to my husband (30M)?

So literally the beginning of this week he told me he wanted to have a separation. Then today, because his sister is visiting, he wants me to go with him to see her for “old time sake”. And then he asks me for a hug and I was blunt and said “No. I don’t want a hug. That was one of our boundaries.” He then goes, “Nevermind, forget it.” I felt bad saying that but like respectfuly, I’m standing on business now because he’s asked for a separation 3 times while in this marriage and I finally just gave in to that. I feel like it has taken a mental toll on me and as much as I actually did want that hug. I can’t keep living a life that’s so back and forth. Maybe this sounds stupid to some. It sounds stupid to me too. Why not just be with someone if you want to be with them. I just feel like I’m being used for who knows what. Like he won’t just let go of me because he’s scared he’s going to lose access to our daughter which isn’t even the case.

My (26F) husband (30M) keeps being wishy washy. What’s going on?

As the title reads. Before anyone says, it’s another woman, it isn’t. We have had things come up from the past that turn into ugly arguments and we’re both tired of this cycle the only difference is, I don’t switch up on him. We’re f’ing married, I don’t question whether I want to be with him or not. I think about, how can we work through this and not have it happen again. Last week we didn’t know where we stood in our relationship, yesterday he reconciled with me and today he’s back to wanting a separation. This is upsetting to me but at the same time I’m so over him being back and forth like at this point we should have a separation but he doesn’t want me to leave the home even though I suggested living separately would maybe help us both by getting our space and time apart. Idk. It seems like we’re leaning more towards divorce. I just wish he could be honest about that. I mean, I’m a pretty stoic person. Of course it’ll hurt but I also know I’ll be okay at the end of this. Anyone go through anything similar with their spouse? Any words of encouragement or advice?

Need advice!

I submitted my nursing application on time but I didn’t realize I needed to submit an RFC request due to a previous college GPA. I’m just wondering if there’s still a chance I could get into fall 2026 or if I should move on and apply to spring semester.

Email I received:

Good morning,
** **
As we were processing your Request for Consideration, we noted that the application deadline for the Part-Time Night and Weekend Nursing Program has passed.
** **
Your request will be presented to the Request for Consideration/Grade Amnesty Committee at its next meeting on July 23, 2026, at which time your request for consideration will be reviewed.
** **
In the meantime, we encourage you to meet with an academic advisor and consider applying to our Traditional Part-Time Nursing Program, which is accepting applications until August 13, 2026.

As the title reads. I did my first finger tattoo and I feel like I blotched it. I didn’t even take pictures. I feel like I went against what I’m trained in. It was too small and typical tiny tattoos are advised against in the tattoo world. Anyway I just wanted to talk about how disappointed I am in myself today and if anyone has ever had tattoo guilt as an artist?
