Discrepancy Between Car Model and Registration Info

Hello everyone,
I recently bought a new car — a Ford Focus ST Line. However, when I checked the license plate details using the Targa Scan app, it showed the car as a Ford Focus Active instead of the ST Line.

I’m a bit confused about this mismatch. Could it be an error in the registration database, a mistake during the paperwork, or maybe just a limitation of the app itself? Has anyone experienced something similar, and what steps would you recommend to clarify or fix this issue?

I have one more doubt, does the specific car trim (for example, ST Line) actually appear on any official registration document?

Ciao a tutti,
ho acquistato da poco una nuova auto — una Ford Focus ST Line. Tuttavia, quando ho controllato i dati della targa tramite l’app Targa Scan, il veicolo risulta registrato come Ford Focus Active invece che ST Line.

Questa differenza mi lascia un po’ perplesso. Potrebbe trattarsi di un errore nel database di immatricolazione, di un problema nella documentazione, oppure semplicemente di un limite dell’app?
