I don't know how many of you saw the previous post but TL;DR I have trouble in remembering characters so I'm making a character map, right now I am at Part 1, Chapter 2, section 4
the rounded box is for characters that i think are unimportant.
the map is color-coded, the light colors are for alive characters while the darkest ones are for dead characters, the color in between the light and dark ones is just information about a character, I'm using bluish colors for males and redish colors for females (sorry for the stereotyping but it's the most universally recognizable color grading) anyways guys lmk what you think of this.
I have trouble in remembering characters so I am making this map while I read this, I wrote down basically all characters because in c&p I had thought svidrigaelov was js a random side character and he turned out to be extremely important later on.
*ps if there is a character that shows up later that is also introduced in pt1, chapter 1 but i have missed them, or if there is any character that doesn't show up later on and is redundant please lmk in the comments.
I’ve heard people say that techno had many more streams if smp earth but he never made videos from them, i think that everyone would love to see those so this is my request to technodad, if you ever decide to put more techno content on his yt channel (because lets be honest the fans want it) then please make smp earth videos.
It took me a while to finish the idiot mostly because the end of part 1 was so captivating and it kinda slowed down (plus i had a shit ton of acads piled up) but the reveal at the end >!when Nastasya is dead!< caught me completely off guard and i was loving it but i was totally expecting (and kind of wanting) >!that rogozhin would frame Myshkin for the murder!< I just feel that it reflects the “Christ like figure” concept more accurately, Now i have heard a lot of arguments against this ending and i want to defend it
>!1) People won’t believe that Myshkin would do such a thing!<
>!Counter point: if Rogozhin frames him properly then he will get arrested and people would say “I can’t believe that he would do such a thing” i mean even today many reputable people commit heinous crimes and the response of the public isn’t to say that “This person is innocent because the couldn’t do such a thing”!<
>!It is always “ Omg I can’t believe that this person was so terrible on the inside”!<
>!2) Rogozhin got what he wanted and would gain nothing by framing Myshkin!<
>!Counter point: Rogozhin gains his freedom by it and an insane passionate person like him wouldn’t think twice before framing Myshkin!<
>!3) Rogozhin and Myshkin exchanged crosses and thus have a brotherly bond!<
>!Counter point: this is the dumbest argument ive heard Rogozhin tried to kill Myshkin he doesn’t give a damn if they exchanged crosses and he sure as hell doesn’t see myshkin as a brother.!<
>!4) Myshkin not going to prison but still turning insane reflects his “Christ like” Nature!<
>!Counter point: Okay this one is the one that actually makes sense to some degree in my opinion. But i still think that the ending would’ve been much more hard hitting if he was framed!<
Anyways, what are your takes on this opinion, I’m not looking to start any arguments i just want to know whether im the idiot for thinking this or do other people feel this way as well, id love to hear why or why not this ending would have made more sense.
There was this one video, i think it was skywars in which he mentions the essay “A modest proposal” by Jonathan Swift i love that video and that essay but i keep losing it does anyone have the link to it or know what the title is??
If you guys can not remember the video from just the essay name, he says something along the lines of
“And i am just reading this essay and it’s all chill and all of a sudden i see this line ‘And i know for a fact that one year olds are tasty’ and it just caught me completely off guard and then later i found out that it was sattire and then it made a lot of sense.”
I hope i provided enough information for people to be able ti track down the video.
I’ll just get to the point
are there charging ports in the classroom? Ik this might sound weird but i was considering using my laptop for taking notes and its battery won’t survive if its not plugged in besides ive heard that keeping laptops plugged in is better soo yea.
ik the answer to this is most probably no but does anyone ever use the college textbooks that are listed in the course structure?
how hard is it to maintain a good cg (8+) if I exclude the time i will spend in college how many hours would i need to put in?
ive seen contradicting opinions regarding the workload some say it is doable if you manage your time others say that it us complete hell and you will have to study 24/7 and yoy won’t have any social life at all
Is it a subjective thing? What is the general opinion on the workload and social life?
there are a lot of clubs do the club activities mess with acads a lot? Or is it chill? How many clubs would you recommend i join?
I got 98.61%ile in mains with air 22,193 I got a bonus point due to olympiad and got a iiit rank of 408, I got csam in round 1 can I get cse or csai in later rounds??

I'm male, general, from Delhi.
I just gave my jee this year and I got 98.61%ile in mains and 94 marks in adv so I'm not getting any decent iits, I was considering taking admission in iiit delhi as I have one bonus points making it highly likely that I'll get cse so I'm confused on what I should do, on the one hand ik that if I take a drop year I will improve my score but I'm tired of the same old jee shit and I feel like I will lose motivation in like 3-4 months and everyone has told me that iiitd had good academics but zero to no campus life, is this true? Because I don't want to just study in college I want to enjoy and have a social life too is the campus life at iiitd as bad as people say it is? Or are they exaggerating, it'd be really beneficial if someone who is currently in iiitd can tell me about it, like are there any fests? How is the class schedule? Do they bury you with a shit ton of academics or is there some wiggle room to chill out?
