Lemme draw ur pets bad

Gimmie

EDIT: IT IS VERY LATE WHERE I LIVE, I WILL CONTINUE DRAWING PETS BADLY TOMORROW

EDIT TO THE EDIT: I AM BACK AND WILL START BADLY DRAWING PETS ONCE MORE

EDIT TO THE EDIT OF THE EDIT: there’s so many pets I’m lwk overwhelmed, I didn’t expect so many people to comment. initially, I wanted to draw every single pet that was posted, but at this rate I’d be here for eternity. I’m gonna start cherry picking who I draw, so if I don’t get to your pet, I’m sorry 😞 ❤️

Why did it rip its wings off?

I saw this video on TikTok, and nobody in the comments had an actual answer. What the heck is happening here?

Did they change the apple sauce?

It tastes HORRIBLE now, like it’s mouldy. We squirted one out onto a plate, but the sauce looked fine. Each pack we’ve opened and tasted has been terrible 😢

How to care for Larder Beetles?

I recently had the carpets in my basement professionally cleaned. Before it happened, I saved a small colony of Larder Beetles I found along the baseboard (they like my husky’s hair that always ends up in the corners) and put them into a Tupperware with a small piece of leftover carpet from the basement remodel, a couple bacon bits, some cucumber (it dried up), and a barely moist paper towel folded up in the corner so they have some water.

I couldn’t bring myself to just outright kill them. They’re just little guys trying to live their lives, and they’re not hurting me. I won’t ever kill a creature for the “crime” of being small or creepy. I live near Canadian wetlands, so lots of little uninvited guests make their way inside and I’m used to it. My question is: how do I take care of them?

I asked Google Gemini, and it recommended that I remove the cucumber because the beetles are carnivores apparently? And to replace the bacon bits in favor of dog/cat food, and add some cardboard for the larva I saved to burrow into. I made all the changes, but I’m not sure how much I trust Ai to tell me how to properly care for the beetles. I want to keep them inside until it’s warm enough for me to put them outside without them freezing at night. Any tips would be appreciated!

Ps: I don’t have a lid, so I put plastic wrap over the top with 30-40 air holes in the top 😅 there are 15 ish beetles and like… six little larva thingies.

I also posted this to r/beetles, but decided to post it here as well
