Have the devs spoken about multiplayer yet?

I'm a solo player who loved doing missions/dungeons with randoms in Warframe. I'm assuming eventually we'll get the same in Soulframe but I just wondered if the devs have spoken about it?

Do higher level weapons of the same type drop later?

Making a crit build with a Rogue and I'm beginning to out level my Cheese Moon.

Will i find another at higher level areas? Or do I need to eventually switch weapon?
