Picked this up earlier in the year and loving it so much. Has the belt (it’s looped on the back at present), liner and hood. I bought it from someone who sent it to Barbour for a re wax and a couple of repairs, see sleeves, before selling. It used to be his father’s. Can safely say I will wear this till I die.
Hi, as someone who has suffered from chronic uti for many years now which has led to me being diagnosed with functional cognitive disorder I have discovered that taking a sauna helps with my uti symptoms. Part of the FCD treatment is regular exercise, so I now go to the gym 5 days a week. I started taking a sauna after exercise and have found that this offers some relief from my uti symptoms. Now I don’t know if this is psychological or a fluke, but it definitely seems to help. Thinking about it I always feel better one on holiday and spending time in a hot climate, but I put this down to maybe just being more relaxed and not having to work whilst dealing with pretty much constant symptoms. I’m wondering if anyone has seen a benefit from sauna, or if I’m just a freak 😂
Hi, this is a new one on me, I usually get E. coli or Klebsiella. Been feeling pretty crap over the last 6 weeks or so, but my MSU’s were coming back either mixed growth or:
“Routine culture is no longer performed
if the WBC count is less than 50 /mm3.
(Significant UTI in adults (unless pregnant)
is very unlikely below this count).
Microscopy
White blood cells 10-50 /mm3
Red blood cells <10 /mm3
Epithelial cells Nil.”
As I’m currently performing gentamicin installation I put these results down to false negatives caused by possible gentamicin in the sample.
My symptoms seem to be worse than my usual infection (get one a month as I self catheterise) and I was wondering if others have had trouble shifting this bacteria? Thx
