Destrends seems to be forgotten in the discussion of FOV. I thought they were great! I described them to my campmates as a cross between the Damned and the Cure, but they also had a lot of Killing Joke in them.
I thought they were fantastic and hope they make an East Coast swing sometime soon.

Making plans to come to Australia for the 2027 Rugby World Cup with my wife for our 25th anniversary (Yes, she like rugby and is a willing participant!). We’ll see games and stay in Melbourne on Oct 2-4 and then Perth from Oct 8-11, seeing USA and Scotland games in both cities. We’ll probably fly into Sydney on or around Sept 27, spend a couple of days there then head to Melbourne.
Question is - what should we do between Melbourne and Perth? We have 4 days or so, so we could fly to Hobart or Darwin? Back to Sydney or Brisbane?
I’m planning on attending FOV with my two sons. One needs to be back in Indiana by Sunday night to start grad school on Monday. Are there any shuttles on Sunday? Or any suggestions to get to Denver airport for a mid afternoon flight? Thanks

I’m mastering a song. In the master FX I have ReaComp, ReaLimit, volume/pan v5, and the JS Loudness LUFS meter. I’m getting my loudness to around -9 non the LUFS and everything sounds great on my speakers (Adam Audio T3V), but when I render to a mp3 and play it in my car, I have to turn the volume almost all the way up. What step am I missing? Thanks
I can get either a SP-404 mk2 or a Bass Station 2 used. They are about the same price and I can’t afford both. I already have a Circuit Tracks, a Roland VR-09 stage piano and. MicroKorg 1. I’m leaning toward the 404, but I am really having a hard time deciding. I do like the idea of being able to use the 404 to record ambient sounds and sample them for sound design.
But the Bass station 2 is fun!
