I might be a biased caps fan but I really do think he should’ve been ranked #2 or #3. Other than Andrei Vasilevskiy I really don’t think I can name another goalie “better” than LT without it being debatable. But hey what do I know.
With Chychy not on the list, I need to ask a question. Other than Ovi, why do we never get any coverage by NHL network? Ever since I was a little kid the only time the caps got any REAL coverage, it would be about Ovi, 2018 and the additions of Tuch and Kyrou, that’s it. It’s not only that but Chychy and LT got snubbed by not being on the team Canada roster, so I need to ask the question, why do the Caps get little to no coverage?
Quick question, is it right by the arena?
I’ll be attending the carpet for the first time this year and will be getting autographs. Few questions:
-What is the best spot to be?
-How many hours before it starts should I get there?
-Will all players sign including Ovi?
-Will players sign more than 1 item or is it 1 per?
I noticed my parakeet is either blinking or having their eyes closed for a little longer amount of time than the other parakeet who blinks like a normal human would. They’re both healthy otherwise it’s just a concern I have for this one.
Oh boy.
With everyone speculating and lots of fans giving their opinions on what they’d want to see with line combos, these lines are something that would be realistic of Spencer Carbery throwing at us based off prior judgment.

A few things seem certain: the Protas brothers will likely stick together on the same line, and I still believe Ovi’s gonna eat the top-line minutes despite the arrival of new talent.
My personal favorite line last year was Mikey alongside PLD and Wilson. While I would absolutely love to see Tuch get a look with PLD and Wilson, it feels unlikely. The forward core might not be the absolute best in the league but I can say with confidence that it is the deepest. Having that kind of depth is fantastic because it gives Carbery the ultimate flexibility to mix and match combinations based on the matchup.
I still have some question marks regarding the fourth line. Jenner carries an almost $6 million cap hit, so I feel he might be utilized in a higher role than centering the fourth line. What I noticed last season was that the lines would often be shaken up during games or a specific player on the bottom 6 would play significantly more then their line mates which I would probably expect Jenner to play more then Sourdif and whoever gets the final spot on the fourth line. There is also a battle brewing for the final wing spot between Frank, Beau and Miro in which I believe Beau would be traded if he doesn’t get the final spot. I do expect Miro to be a full time nhl’er since Frank was benched the final few games and I also believe Miro is ready to play a full season. It could be possible Beau could be traded but everything’s up in the air.
The power play last year was atrocious and a massive disgrace and something that needs to be improved to say the least. Ovi probably will get 2 minutes on the pp which is unfortunate given the need for a new spark but the team is just going to have to fight through it. Something that won’t happen but I would like to see is a pp consisting of Hutson, Leonard, Tuch, Kyrou, and Lil Pro. I do believe Lil Pro is going to be on the pp this season since he finished last season off getting those minutes. On the bright side I don’t believe we need to worry about our penalty kill and it looks to be completely fine.
I love this list a lot. The projections give player ranks and projections. I personally would put Miro over Christall and Lakovic but that’s just me. I do like this list a lot.
Pretty disappointed Christall and Ilya Protas aren’t on the roster. I feel if Martone and Bump are attending Philly’s development camp then Christall and Protas should, just my two sense.
The capitals draft Oliver Suvanto with the 18th overall pick.
I’ve had them for 5 years. I have noticed they breathe a bit heavy in the videos. They used to chip a lot but not that much anymore, they have about a few periods in the day they’ll chirp a lot but other than that they’re pretty quiet. They also would fly around a lot but they don’t fly around that much anymore. Just checking in and want opinions.
I didn’t know Ian would be this soft and all I did was give an accurate opinion and I was respectful about it to 🤣 I can’t imagine this is the first time he’s blocked people over their opinions that don’t align with his. This also was my first ever reply to his post since I’m hardly ever active on Twitter
Can’t believe Kyrou was this cheap but I absolutely love it. One problem we have is the amount of
defensive forwards we have such as Wilson, Protas, McMichael, Sourdif, Duhaime however trading McMichael for a full fledged offensive forward is a step in the right direction, it had to be done.
Kyrou struggled in St. Louis for two years but the good thing is that we’re able to revive struggling talent and I have no doubt in my mind we can do it with Kyrou!
Ps: I know the comments will point out Wilson and Protas’s stats as not being a “defensive” forward however they have both been prioritized in defensive roles.

On a real note: Sucks that he is on Vegas out of all teams but I’m willing to put my Vegas hate aside for Dowd to win a cup.

3 goal lead is the worse lead in hockey. The game isn’t over yet. Sucks that the goal was waved off but the mentality should focus on the future of the game and not what could’ve been.
