I fell. Or jumped. I don’t [CORRUPTED] remember.
Let me start from the beginning.
After Entry #002, I kept walking. The hotel was… wrong. The corridors stretched longer than they should. The walls whispered. I could hear voices. Not from the rooms. From the walls.
I reached the edge. A void. Endless. Black. No bottom. No other side.
I stood there. For minutes. Or hours. I don’t know.
I wanted to see. Just… peek over. Lean forward. That’s all.
But the floor… it wasn’t floor. It was… unstable. Crumbling.
I slipped.
No. I didn’t slip. I… lost balance. My foot stepped on air. Like the edge wasn’t there anymore.
I fell.
Darkness. Silence. No wind. No sound. Just… falling.
And then… light.
White. Endless. And shelves. Books. Everywhere.
I landed. Not hard. Like something… caught me. Softened the fall.
I’m in The Aleph Library. I’ve heard whispers about this place. But I never thought it was real.
Endless shelves. Books everywhere. The shelves stretch into infinity — up, down, sideways. The books glow with a faint light — like stars. Silence… but sometimes whispers from the books. The whispers read text from those [CORRUPTED].
Walls, floor, ceiling — all covered in records. My records. Entry #001. Entry #002. They’re here. On the [CORRUPTED].
There’s… something here. Watching me.
It’s tall. Dark robes. No face. Just… shadow. It doesn’t speak. It doesn’t move. It just… watches.
I think it’s the Librarian. The guardian of this place.
I tried to touch another book. Not mine. Just… curious.
It stepped closer. Slowly. Reached out its hand. I didn’t let it touch me. I pulled back.
I don’t know why I know this. But I knew — if its hand touched me, I would disappear. Where from? I never met it before. But… I felt it. Like I had been here before. Like I already knew the rules.
I understand now. I can touch my own records. But not others. If I do… I disappear.
I’ve been walking for hours. Or days. Time doesn’t exist here.
And then I saw it.
A book. Glowing. Rainbow colors. Shifting. Pulsing.
It lay on a separate shelf — alone.
The Librarian watched. Didn’t stop me. Just… watched.
I opened it. The light blinded me. And then…
When I touched it… I felt warmth. Like it was alive.
I was pulled in. Not through a portal. The book… absorbed me.
Now I’m here. Wherever “here” is.
I don’t know if I’m in the real world. Or another [CORRUPTED]. The odds are against me.
But something’s wrong. The air… different. Gravity… strange.
I look at my hands. They’re… wrong. Like they’re drawn. The edges are blurred.
I try to take a step. But the floor… moves. No. Not the floor. It’s not the floor. It’s… something else.
I see colors. But they’re not colors. They’re… sounds. I hear red. I feel blue.
In the distance… something is approaching. Or not approaching. It’s here. And at the same time, there.
I try to write this. But the letters… they drift. They don’t stay on the page. They… live.
Where am I? What is this place?
But I’m alive. And I’m writing. Still writing.
