ALL platforms currently suffer from this issue

Problem: You're scrolling through your main page (with NSFW settings active)

You follow an animal subreddit. Someone posts a picture of a dog with an open wound

I can't click 'Hide' so I'm forced to see rather gruesome issues that I'd rather not

Please fix this issue

Posts like this are becoming a nuisance and are usually disingenuous. They act as a 'front' for people to spam sites in the comment sections by users that just want your information

It also conflates with Sub Rule 1-2

NO FOR-PROFIT SITES / NO AI

The comment section derived from these posts results in links that break sub rules

Users found violating this rule will have to have to receive consequences that impact their ability to interact with the sub-reddit

Our positions on enforcing this rule is entirely uncompromising
