Every moment is painful

Yesterday was three months since my TFMR. I am really struggling with the feeling that I should still be pregnant (my due date was September). I feel like my body has failed me and I feel so ashamed. I don't want to see anyone or go to work or be around other people, everything is so triggering. It feels like I am going backwards in my grief and I don't know if it will ever end.

Fertility assessment

I TFMR my first pregnancy at 22 weeks in May 2026. My periods are still irregular which is making TTC again tortuous. I am 31 and the prospect of being 32 at the youngest when I have my first child is freaking me out. I feel like there's a clock ticking for the first time and I am wondering if anyone else has felt the same. I have looked into fertility health assessments (I'm in the UK so it would be private) but wondering if I am being ridiculous for even contemplating it at this stage? We were lucky and didn't have any trouble conceiving the first time in December 2025. Thank you ❤️

Heavy periods, is this normal?

I am currently having my second period post-TFMR in May. The first one was heavy and lasted 9 days, although I had a normal cycle length of 30 days. This period is heavy too (heavier than I was used to pre-pregnancy, anyway), I am now on day 6 and it seems like it will continue for a few more days.

Did anyone else experience this? How long did it take for your cycle to go back to normal or settle into a new normal?

Thank you ✨️

Looking for reassurance

My husband and I TFMRed our very wanted first pregnancy at 22 weeks about 6 weeks ago after a Spina Bifida diagnosis. I had a medical termination (L&D) and have recently had my first period, so touch wood everything is medically okay. We are gearing up to TTC (after 6 weeks of high dose folic acid) and I am spiralling. We were so lucky to conceive our first cycle trying with our TFMR baby. I have just turned 31 and now it feels like there's a clock ticking for the first time. I am terrified it's going to take months and months, and I'm not sure I can handle it. Any advice or reassurance much appreciated right now.
