TSEC students/alumni — worth it or not? Be brutally honest

Trying to decide if TSEC is the right call for me. Instead of tcet clg as i'm travelling from virar and commute really fks but at the same time i want strong peers and placements too, I want real talk from people who've actually been there.

So — would you choose TSEC again, or regret it?

Curious about placements, profs, campus vibe, and anything you wish you knew before joining.

Roast it or hype it, I just want the truth 😅

Virar student here — spent weeks researching DJSCE AIML vs TSEC IT vs TCET CO, here's the honest truth 🧵

DJSCE gives best jobs but maths is tough for aiml branch | TSEC is a great college but you'll waste 4 hours daily on train | TCET is closest from Virar but companies don't pay as well none of them are perfect, choose what hurts you the least 😅

DJ Sanghvi or should I just pick something closer? Confused about DSY CSE admission (I'm from Virar)

Hey everyone, I'm a Diploma Computer Engineering student trying to get into 2nd year BE/B.Tech through DSY admission. I'm in open category with 94.29 percentile. I had a health problem last year that made me lose a year — I was actually good enough to get into DJ Sanghvi for CSE back then, but now I'm not sure if I'll get in this time around.

The colleges I'm considering are: DJ Sanghvi, TCET, TSEC, FRCRCE, and VCET.

My main confusion is this — DJ Sanghvi is a really well-known college with good placements, but it's far from Virar, so I'd be traveling 3+ hours every day. TCET and VCET are much closer to home.

So basically I want to know — is it worth taking DJ Sanghvi even with that much daily travel, or should I just pick a closer college like TCET or VCET and save myself the tiredness?

If anyone has done this same DSY (diploma to 2nd year) move into any of these colleges, please tell me how your experience was — was the travel worth it, or did you regret it later?
