Should I just shave it?

Should I just shave it? The pattern is getting so wide.
Pretty soon people will notice, if they haven’t already.
It got wide quick too, like a couple months.

My story is that my hair was thinning a little bit from a while back. Just along my hairline.
Then I got into a relationship, it caused me so much stress. When I was with her we also both started drinking, smoking, arguing, staying up all night.
Then it got to a point where we broke up, I didn’t handle it too well… ended up in a psych ward, didn’t shower for days, and even when I got out, I was just wasting away. My hair was so oily, and beat up from not showering. So when I started to shower a few weeks ago, I noticed how really thin my hair had gotten in such a short amount of time. So I have my left over thick grown out hair, and now my roots are all thin, and barely hanging on. I notice I have dandruff, and scalp pain…

Do you think this is TE, or Androgenetic Alopecia?
Should I shave it off, or hold out?

What do you think?

(23m)

To preface this, I know that no one can diagnose me right now. I am actually waiting to get my CBCT Scans within these next few days.
I also have a consultation appointment with a Periodontist on the 5th.

I just need an opinion on how far you think this is.
Keep in mind the gum recession is worse than you think. My teeth are much shorter than what they used to be, so it doesn’t look like the worst case of gum recession. But my teeth have been going through so many changes these past three years.

My symptoms include:

Jaw joint popping on right side(TMJ)
Jaw pain
Teeth grinding in sleep(Bruxism)
Shorter teeth
Teeth sensitivity
Wiggly teeth(scary)
Bite malocclusion
Gum recession(I feel it is Perio)
Jaw recession
Asymmetrical face
Shorter face
Migraines
Neck pain
Shoulder pain

Idk why it’s not letting my post photos on here, so I’ll try to post it in comments, or send through DM.

TMJ Bruxism, Sleep Apnea, Gum Recession, Sensitivity.

Hello, 23, Male.

My life has been full of anxiety, and depression due to my oral health. I’ve neglected my oral health for about three years, due to a break up.
I noticed Gum Recession, Jaw Popping, and some teeth sensitivity, and teeth grinding in my sleep.
I just let myself go due to depression.
For all three years I noticed

teeth losing vertical/horizontal height/width,

teeth wiggly,

gum recession, (my dentist said this was normal,
I think he’s kind of an idiot.)

Jaw recession, which is really bad now.

My TMJ got much worse, with jaw joint pain.

My bruxism got worse due to another recent break up, so my migraines are the worst they’ve ever been
(Stress causes me to grind much more.)

My teeth look decent, but they don’t feel like it.
A few days ago I woke up, most of my teeth in pain, and very sensitive, They felt even more wiggly, I believe I have Perio. If I already didn’t three years ago. I am very devastated.
My gums receded even more, my teeth are very sensitive to cold/hot food/drink, and interior/outside temperature.
And it feels awkward for my teeth to touch…
So I’ve been following the “lips together, teeth apart”
It’s helped somewhat.

I also noticed a lot of changes to my face/jaw shape.
Which is also really depressing.

I saw a TMJ Specialist recently who took CBCT scans, but I haven’t seen him since all of my teeth became really sensitive. I believe the sensitivity has something to do with gum recession, and bruxism,
He also suspects sleep apnea is a major part of this.

Scheduled an appointment with a periodontist,
But I’m also low on funds and can’t afford more than the consultation.

I’m so depressed, but I can’t seem to cry.
I also struggle with \*\*\***\*\***\*\*\* thoughts since a young teen, even before all of these new symptoms. Even took Gabapentin, which made my bruxism worse.

I also have tinnitus from TMJ/Bruxism, so I can’t take SSRI’s.
Everything is soooooo much right now.

I did take some steps to help myself,
Switching ultra soft toothbrush,
Sensodyne toothpaste in the morning,
Parodontax toothpaste at night,
Flossing throughly twice a day.
(If you have any mouth wash recommendations let me know!!:3)

I know it’s a little late to start taking care of myself now, but it’s better late than never.

Also trying to see a therapist/psychiatrist,
For depression hopefully it helps.

Let me know if anyone wants to see my teeth/gums,
I’d be happy to show you:3

Give me some advice/comfort.
Anything helps…<3

(Sorry if this was very disorganized, and out of order.
But thats exactly how my brain feels lollllll)

Jawbone Loss

Losing my jaw bone due to periodontal disease, TMJ, Bruxism… is it possible to even out my jaw bone still?
My jawbone looks much smaller and uneven on my right side. Please tell me if this can be fixed:((

My face is ruined HELP

(23yo) I have had some sort of TMJ, bruxism, and periodontal disease, for about three years now. I had completely let my oral hygiene spiral out of control. My jawline is completely ruined from jaw bone loss, my teeth are so grinded down, The fact is that I never did anything about it, and now I’m extremely depressed about having so many symptoms, and insecurities about my jawline, and short my face has become.

Is there a way to completely reverse my jawline to how it used to be, and my teeth as well.

What surgeries do this? How much does it all cost?

Seeing my dentist in a few days to start this process, starting with a night guard to protect my teeth. Really scared about what comes financially, and what news I’m going to hear.
