Parents forced me to remove my piercing.

Hi all. So I come from an African family and today is my graduation for dual enrollment as I graduate from college and high school simultaneously. I promised myself since I was 18 that I was going to get an ear piercing(stud) to complete my look since I had cut my hair and wanted to round up my features. My graduation is today and yesterday I went to the shop to get it pierced before I picked up my cousins from the airport. I thought it looked nice and all, and my friend and I bryan got ours pierced together. As soon as I got back home they noticed and isolated me in the room and told me to remove it and I tried to explain to them how it’s a new trend for young guys and how it’s stylish and would look good for my graduation. They didn’t want me to “embarrass the family” and emasculated me and said I was gonna be a disappointment and all that other stuff. It stings because I really liked it. Now I’m stuck because I just got it ripped, I’m assuming it’s going to close but I just want to make sure my ear is safe. What do I do? Should I try for it back in August before college? I’m just lost.

TLDR: African parents made me forcibly remove earrings the day of, and now I’m scared for infection.

Victor Wembanyama's Playoff Stats (excl. injury and ejection game) for his first year are absurd. He's on a generational tear

His stats for the playoffs so far are 25/13.3/2.9 with 5.3 blocks on 55/38/87 shooting splits on 67% true shooting splits. The league is actually cooked when he fully masters his offensive game

Hi all, hope everyone’s well. I just committed to nc state a couple days ago and I’m doing the application for housing process. Currently I have one friend who’s going to NC State and wants to be a roommate which I have no problem with but I was also thinking about applying to a LLV(Sullivan I believe) because of my civil engineering major. I’m kinda split on what to do, if I should just generally apply for a dorm with my friend or go to a village. I’m an out of state and tryna make my freshman year as best as possible as this is a new learning curve for me yk. What would yalls advice be? Is the Sullivan hall good?
