Our foster dog Canelo with radar dishes attached to his head 😅

I am posting on social media trying to find him a loving forever home and for obvious reasons the ears are central to my marketing strategy!

I need to get a video of him LOCKED IN on a bush when he hears a rodent in there. EARS!!!

Canelo is looking for his forever home - could you be the one? 💙👂

This good boy is ALWAYS down for a cuddle, and is looking for his forever family to give him some stability! We we in the San Diego area so if you are too, and looking for a goofy, sweet, adorable best friend then he could be the one for you!

You can find him on Instagram at canelo_foster_dog for pics and vids if you're interested!

We saved Canelo from euthanasia a month ago, and have seen him blossom so much since he came to us. As you can see from the photos he is an absolute ham at home and loves his humans.

He is very well mannered - crate trained, house trained, and loves chew toys but doesn't chew on things he's supposed to. He loves having visitors and meeting new people.

Canelo is up to date on all of his shots, has no known health issues, is neutered, and apparently he's 8 years old! He has the energy of maybe a 5 year old dog, he can be very playful!

At this time he would do best as the only dog in the home, although he has lived with another dog before. We have been working daily with him on dog neutrality and we are SO proud of how far he has come. But he still has big feelings around other dogs and we haven't had the chance to slowly introduce him to another dog yet.

Canelo deserves the best life. He lived outside his whole life (which is surprising because he does so well inside), then spent 7 months in the shelter, then got adopted to an owner who probably should have adopted a stuffed animal instead, and now has been with us for a month and is finally able to live his best life (on the couch, in our arms 😅).

Can anyone help him find his forever home? 🫶

Canelo needs our help finding a forever home!👂👂

We saved Canelo from euthanasia when his owner couldn't keep him, and now he's looking for his forever home!

He is just the sweetest dog. He loves belly rubs, cuddling up with his humans, and does great meeting new people. My camera roll is just full of him doing adorable things.

He is crate trained / house trained, and can be left alone no problem. Just give him some cuddles when you come back ❤️

We have been working with him on dog neutrality every single day, when he came to us he was showing fearful behaviors towards other dogs, but now he has transitioned to excitement and BIG FEELINGS (we are so proud of his progress)! He really just needs a human he can trust to help him navigate his feelings.

You can find him on insta at canelo_foster_dog if you want to see pics and vids 😊

We are located in the Carlsbad area and would love to connect to share more details if he sounds like he could be a good fit for what you're looking for!
