How come Smartthings doesnt have this feature on Samsung tv:s?

I recently saw a video showing a smart home setup—either via Home Assistant or Apple HomeKit—where an automation triggered a specific routine based on which app was currently running on the TV. Given that SmartThings is owned by Samsung, it seems like a missed opportunity that they haven't implemented a similar feature to track and trigger routines based on active Samsung TV apps.

Does HA provide ability to automate based on phones state?

So, I'm thinking about switching from SmartThings to Home Assistant, but my biggest hang-up is how well SmartThings works with Samsung phones. Basically, Samsung has this Modes and Routines app, kind of like Apple's Siri Shortcuts. Right now, I have a bunch of triggers in that app that kick off SmartThings routines based on what my phone is doing.

Does the Home Assistant app have anything like that? Like, if my phone is charging during certain hours, can it run a specific Home Assistant routine?

Will the new API price affect the Edge Drivers community?

Following October, with the introduction of a monthly fee for the SmartThings API, what will be the implications for Edge Drivers developers? Will they also be affected by this change? I have a concern that the entire Edge Driver community may experience stagnation, and many developers might cease maintaining their drivers once the new pricing structure is implemented.

What doorbell has best integration with Smartthings?

As I am currently seeking a doorbell solution, and having previously encountered limitations with devices advertised as "works with SmartThings" that did not offer full functionality, I am keen to avoid a similar situation. Therefore, I would appreciate guidance on which brand or specific doorbell model would provide the most comprehensive functionality within the SmartThings ecosystem.

Early reviews from Korea suggest Samsung's new Jet Bot may not live up to expectations and its price tag.

Looks like the new model is carrying over the same old issues. It’s only out in South Korea so far, but the early reviews don't sound promising. At this point is Samsung even trying with their robot vacuums?

Why Is Samsung the Only OEM With a Siri Shortcuts Equivalent?

Still wild to me that more Android OEMs don’t have a proper Siri Shortcuts equivalent. Samsung is basically the only one taking automation seriously. Modes and routines is one of the main reasons why I cant leave Samsung no matter how much I want to jump ship.
