Dupont Lingue 1 BR lighter lid stuck in open position please help.
Hi guys first post,
I purchased this lighter and it worked on arrival. I went to replace the flint by opening the flint slider with the side lever you pull down. This pushed the lid further than where it normally stops and i am now unable to close the lid. It appears to me at least that the part on the right (looks to me like a zippo hinge style thing im no expert) is what is causing the lid to be stuck. I can see (I think) that this part should go into a hole or recess behind the gas wheel.
Any help would be much appreciated.
