Gr. 11 here , how should I start preparing now for the BHSc supplementary application?
I'm currently in Grade 11 and planning to apply to Queen's Health Sciences this December.
I know the supplementary application has both the live interview (with about 2 minutes to prepare before speaking) and the timed writing component, so I was wondering what people actually did to prepare.
For current students or people who were admitted:
- How did you prepare for the live speaking portion?
- How did you prepare for the writing portion?
- Did you practice with sample questions?
- Did you use a coach or reviewer? If not, who gave you feedback?
- Looking back, what would you have done differently?
- What do you think Queen's is actually looking for in applicants during the interview and writing?
I'd love to start preparing early if there's anything I can work on over the summer.
