I was using Instacart a lot due to being pregnant and unable to tolerate grocery shopping.
Recently I had prenatal vitamins in my order that cost $15. I put no replacement, refund if out of stock because I need a specific brand otherwise I feel nauseous. The shopper WITHOUT EVEN ASKING went to a whole other store and got a replacement that cost $50. This was the second time a shopper went to another store to buy an expensive replacement without my consent. Instacart gave me credit to the app but “couldn’t” refund me to my bank account for the unwanted $50 replacement. I used the credit and deleted the app. Done with Instacart after this.
