I just realized I may have LPR. I sent a message to my doctor but looking for some thoughts from people who have been officially diagnosed.

I have had a hoarse voice for a long time but that comes and goes. Random cough that comes and goes. A feeling of a lump in my throat or like food is stuck. A feeling of food coming back up my throat- especially when laying down. Sometimes when I burp I have an acidic/bitter taste in my mouth (like I have occasionally had it come back up a little).

But the newest symptom, and the one that made me start researching the last couple days, is this mild burning feeling I have in my throat, mostly when I breathe. I don't feel it when swallowing. It goes nearly down to my collarbone area. I do not have a sore throat or cold symptoms. I have had this burning sensation for the last two weeks.

I just remembered something that may be relevant. I have very low iron (due to very heavy periods most likely) and about 2 weeks ago, I started taking iron (25mg of bisglycinate chelate) and buffered vitamin c (500mg of calcium ascorbate). Google says these absolutely can cause this burning heartburn sensation....

Do you think this is LPR? I don't understand why this symptom has suddenly came about. It is uncomfortable and it gives me so much anxiety. Is it something scary or simply reflux? Ugh.

I read in other posts people have a white tongue and mine is not completely white but it does always have a thin white film where it does not really scrape off 100%. My dentist says my tongue looks normal and healthy. They think I may have geographic tongue as it has had sore spots ever since my first bout of covid in 2022.

Any suggestions or ideas? I don't smoke or drink or anything. In perimenopause and on HRT. Have diastasis recti and a hernia due to that. No idea if that is relevant. Not sure what else to add. Thanks for any ideas/thoughts.

Maine to Boston, family of 3. Should we do coach and maybe get the 4 seater or do business and be split up but not have to possibly sit with a stranger (since coach is 2 and 2 with the exception of the random 4 seater and business class is 2 and 1)??! I can't decide. Pricing is $26 per adult (kids are half off) for the non refundable option (well, partially refundable) and $28 per adult for refundable ... and business is $38 per adult. Total round trip price is $140 vs $190. Is BC worth the $50 upgrade? It comes with one free drink, lol. My child is quiet and well behaved. Just can't decide if BC is worth $50 more than coach for our family of 3. Thank you!
