How much do we nitpick these guitars when receiving them?

Hey all! This is my first Firefly, and honestly my first guitar I’ve ever had shipped. I recorded the unboxing and noted some imperfections throughout. My question is, where in y’all’s opinion is the boundary of picking apart the imperfections that don’t affect playability, and simply admitting it’s a sub $300 guitar? Overall it’s a beautiful guitar and I’m happy with it. I think I just don’t want to overthink it if is really just the expectation.

The Firefly Snow Horse next to my Epiphone Explorer Goth I got around 20 years ago.

Haircut suggestions?

Hey all! I’ve got this yorkipoo who just finished his final round of vaccinations and is ready for a cut! I’ve only had shorthair dogs before so I’m a bit lost as to where to even start with this guy. Obviously my goal is for maximum cuteness for him, and he’s got a bit of a snout on him. Any suggestions for a good looking cut for my boy?

Overseas Trip from U.S. - Board to take

https://preview.redd.it/o33en1d5345h1.jpg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d04d7eb4f71f87d6ec5ede99155dceac3a8d641a

First lemme get this out of the way and say that this totally gives of "my buttered lobster is too buttery" vibes. I'm heading overseas and have found a few proper pump tracks that I'll be near, so me and my kids are taking our boards. There's no actual pump track around where I live, so I'm pretty excited. The question I'm trying to answer is which board to take. The Shape 9 and Coffin are my favorites, and the Dinghy Blunt Fender I got for like $20. As such the Blunt has quite a bit more wear, whereas the other two hardly have any and I've skated each around five hours or so.

So anyway, should I take the more used one just in case it gets lost or something in transit? Won't be quite such a punch to gut, or should I just full send and take either the Shape 9 or Coffin, which are my current favorites.

(I'm aware of the size differences between all three, especially the Blunt Fender, and skate-ability is a non-issue)

Arbor Boards at Sierra with big discount

Just wanted to give a heads to everyone, Sierra has the Arbor Pocket Rocket and Pilsner on their site for $50. Perfectly fine boards, especially for beginners.

Yeah, support local if you can, but $50 to get someone into a sport or even a backup or fun setup is a hard to pass deal.

Arbor Pilsner with Hawgs Fatties

Got an unbelievable deal on this Arbor Pilsner. I’ve never had one and I’ve really liked this artwork since I first saw it. The ride is okay overall but I think I’m spoiled with Hawgs wheels. The Arbor ones are 78a but the ride felt pretty rough, so I swapped some Fatties on there and it feels so much smoother. Will likely change the bushings out as well as I’m a little hefty and I value stability over everything else. Beyond neighborhood cruising, I go to the pump track. Can’t wait to try it out there.
