I got hunger, fatigue, reek (like odor), vitality, health, thirst... Six bars, not to mention other statuses like poisoned, illness, detection range, etc...my UI looks like a spreadsheet. Any advice?

Sandbox games are cool for their creativity - but imo - lack strategy. Every time I see someone mining to the bedrock for diamonds I always think - why? Or cutting down a tree - and putting it in their backpack? Trees are heavy!!

I think there is a real opportunity for a real-time strategy overlay in sandbox games.

I love exploration in sandbox games. The reward is typically the sense of discovery that's adjacent to the "goals" or "quests" of the games - not the goal it self. K&K tracks the "chunks" discovered by the player. This is the Experience measure that opens up Technology. And adds to the Player's score - which is public (configurable) encouraging competition for Dominion.
