I'm just worried that I'm still going to be in pain after my sessions are over and I haven't even started.

The first time I was in PT they helped me with my spasms that I was having on my back and front shoulder They helped me slowly get rid of them and control them. Sometimes it feels like they're going to come back but I do the breathing and stuff they taught me but it does take a while to go away.

My first physical therapy sessions ended at the end of February but I was still in pain I quit smoking, joined the gym and tried to mimic some of the things I was taught but we're in May now and I'm still in pain I'm just hoping that maybe I'm not doing it right and they could show me the right way

So I have my physical therapy evaluation this Friday, so I'm hoping maybe because they are working only on my back and not on my spasms anymore that it will work.

Anyways if this second session doesn't work my doctor says we should Wait a bit and continue physical therapy. I did see a specialist and told me no surgery was needed which is a good thing but he also told me physical therapy keep doing it. I'm trying to be positive but I'm also trying to get better

How do you know when it's time to try something else like a chiropractor or acupuncture? of course none of my insurance covers it but I'm at the point where I'm willing to pay for it.
