Target Shooting with Copper?

Last year I made the switch to copper rounds. Used to shoot 150 grain when I was using lead (Out of a .270) but moved down to 130 grain using federal trophy copper. Zero complaints so far but had to re-sight my firearm in after I dropped the gun (foolish I know). Just used the same rounds I was using for hunting at first but shooting copper is expensive. I'm wondering, for those of you who do shoot copper, when it comes time to practice do you just stick with your hunting bullets? Do you deep clean the barrel and switch back to lead before cleaning again and switching to copper before the hunt?

Wabakimi Provincial Park in Northern Ontario

Took the VIA rail train for a 24 hour ride to Wabakimi for a 15 day camping and fishing trip! Got on north of Toronto, paid 100 bucks CAD to take my canoe. Super tough trip, beautiful scenery, great fishing and my first time seeing caribou!

Went as soon as the ice on the lakes thawed in mid May, had a foot of snow my first couple days. Rest of the trip super hot and sunny! Would recommend Wabakimi for anyone looking to get away from the crowd in Quetico/BWCA, this particular route I would not recommend however, extremely difficult especially solo.

15 days by train in Wabakimi and Brightsand River Provincial Park

What an amazing park. Took the VIA in to Allanwater bridge right at ice out and had some crazy weather to start the trip; a foot of snow and -10 degrees on my second night. 20-30 degrees and sunny most of the rest of the trip. Great fishing, lots of wildlife and beautiful running water!

Going up the brightsand river was incredibly difficult, portages flooded or nonexistent, had to bushwhack most of the sections of fast water. I do not recommend this trip, going downriver on the brightsand would be much better. You would for sure need whitewater experience however.
