Nothing better in the world than a runner’s high and a view at the end
Went in feeling “eh” and had an unexpectedly gorgeous, high energy run 🙏🏽

Not pictured: homemade wooden chairs and fire pits. A lovely space for some late night bonding and ritual sacrifice
I would like to pretend I ran all the way up, but I only ran the dry and not-ankle-breaking portion up 🤷♀️
It’s wild berry season. The bears and I are pleased.
Two days, three trails
I am planning a trip to Acadia National Park (Maine, USA) and would like to run everyday. From what I see in previous posts, the recommended trails are carriage roads but I like rough, single tracks with some elevation. I will have a car and can travel. By any chance does anyone know of routes in the area that are worthy? Hoping for 5-15 miles daily.
I will be hiking as well and am experienced with Katahdin and the Whites…hoping to try some new areas!
We are about to have a heatwave so I’m appreciating this
Hope those gives no offense, but I’m in the process of adult diagnosis and it struck me how dependent I am on outdoor time, running, and physical exercise in general to feel right. Of course this isn’t unique to ADHD…but there’s a ton of research showing the benefits of all that for those with this condition. Wondering if trail running in particular attracts those with spinning brains?
Edit: Wow, you are all wonderful. Always felt/was told I was off for my feelings and habits and it’s great to find the likeminded. Peace, love, and dirty ankles to you all ❤️🙏🏽😃
It was only suppose to “lightly rain” 🤷♀️
I’m calling this one Buddy
