I wonder if yall got alternatives. I would imagine some are lucky to still find a way to be part of the wc. The lack of communication during this wc then and now is crazy. Luckily, at least I got other things to do.

TF Happened To This Guy

I think this guy was running for NJ-5 and was taking shots at Gottheimer. When going to his page it seemed almost satirical and shitposty. Also, I wonder if there were any other info or updates on his policies, since idk if he still plans on running since the date passed already I think.

Relearning, First Time and Recommendations

Wondering about EV and whether better to get a ESC or EB. I mainly am considering about safety, ease/weight, travel distance and longevity. Especially for any type of paths/terrain and if plan to use public transport. Would probably have to relearn since I had not biked since like my teens. Would like to do 20miles+ travel distance in one go. NJ, mainly suburbs and might encounter paths where fast or not mainly walkable.

I just realized with the whole world cup situation and other summer events, i would imagine the traffic and everyday life will be crazy and hectic. Also, since I heard some local and common commuter paths and transport options will be limited or constrained. Not only that, they are charging crazy prices to take public transport, and not even allowing locals to take them or even a discount or something to mitigate. I wonder how yall gonna deal with this, especially since idk how big travel alternatives are common in BC, and people deciding to drive instead of having to wait around for their stop and destination.

I was wondering what type of ev is better since I was wondering the possibility or feasibility of getting either an ebike/scooter since I would like one that is probably lightweight and foldable so that it is easy to carry in public transit if one wants to. Also, which is better for whenever interacting with hills or bumpy/questionable roads in a somewhat urbanized suburban area. As well as regarding removable rechargable battery and if it can be powered on for around 25 miles distance travel or more in one go. Speed doesn't really matter to me.

Also, for safety i might pass by or be near the area of major roads or freeways. I wonder if a regular bike helmet & pads are enough just in case or no. Also, if it is possible to use/ride one as a regular mechanical bike/scooter without battery? I wonder whether the battery can be recharged through an outlet or recharged manually by riding it like man-powered as if a regular mechanical bike/scooter , or does it need a charging station.
