Just wanted to post for fun. Obviously not typical cost for most Lyney players, but still like to see him brute forcing Dire fights. Especially this one, as the Bond of Life mechanic shuts down a big part of his kit
Mine is that Sustain The Untruth is a top tier single. Why is that song so overlooked or outright disliked by people? I'll never understand. It's got one of my favorite Deg choruses, and Kyo sounds great in it!
Magnum opus being "the greatest achievement of an artist or writer"
I'm curious of people's thoughts on this. Its common in tier lists or album rankings for the majority of people to put Uroboros at the top, but on a deeper level do you believe it is their *best* work, or rather just the most enjoyable or most relatable?
I think an argument could be made that it is and also that it isn't.
I remember when the album came out and I listened to it for the first time. It had a level of depth that was surprising coming off the back of The Marrow of a Bone. At the time I thought there was no way they could top it. But since then I don't know that I'd agree. In retrospect, I think that Arche is a more creative and interesting album. But it is not as cohesive and comes off feeling less serious in comparison. What do you guys think? Any other albums you think that are Dir en grey's true "best", or is Uroboros the undeniable pinnacle of their artistic career?
I've been working PT preloading for a while and honestly I love it. I love working inside and being around all the machinery and people. Most everyone I meet is just waiting to drive, but that sounds like hell for me and I don't care much to be alone in the heat and cold. So let's say I want to stay at UPS and work toward a position where I am full time and more valuable to the company than loading and unloading trucks. What would my options be to make more money while staying inside?
Hey fellow Lyney mains! I was excited to try out Nicole in his Overload team, and after lots of testing, on my account at least, Nicole has been a nice improvement. About 20-24k DPS.
Lyney C6R1: MH
Nicole C2R0: Atlas - CG
Fischl C6: Elegy - Scroll / ToTM (its kind of a wash. My scroll set performs a little better)
Chev C6: Scents - SoDP (I tried Noblesse on her with this setup and it wasn't as good)
when runnning the same team with Durin (C2R1 - Noblesse) instead of Nicole, team DPS was around 280-282. Now, I did do a run with Fischl using Nicole's Celestial Gift set, but resummoning Oz does not seem to reproc the effect, and DPS was consistently lower.
I also did a few runs using both Nicole and Durin with C0R1 Xilonen, and was hitting around 250k DPS.
Rotation is typically Nicole E, Fischl E/Q, Chev hE, Lyney 5CA QE (i aim cancel the charged attacks, so it works out with buffs and ER)
How have you guys been using Nicole with Lyney?
Just wanted to say thanks for the tips the community gave after my last post of hitting 220k here. They were super useful, and after a lot of practice aim canceling and switching some builds around, I think I'm about as high as I can go for now.
Lyney - C6R1 - MH
Durin C2R1 - Noblesse
Fischl - Scroll / Elegy
Chevreusse - SoDP / Symphonist of Scents
Guess I have to say that I'm not trying to flex or convince anyone Lyney is worth taking to C6, since there was negativity being spread in my last post (sigh). But it's fun to see what you can do with an older unit, even if the cost is extremely high. It's worth it to me.
Hello fellow Lyney fans. I recently got our favorite magician to C6 (been playing for years at C2). And I was curious how other people feel about his dummy performance? I don't have much experience with calcs and such, and couldn't quite find much info on C6 Lyney teams/rotations outside of this sub.
I'm curious if this number can go a bit higher. After tons of trial and error, here's what I found worked the best for me -
Durin is C2R1 and on Noblesse.
Chev is C6 and also on Noblesse. (I don't have a better alternate set for either character)
Fischl is C6 and on Scroll using Elegy. I tried a lot of Fischl setups, even with Venti's new bow and a pretty decent Troupe set but team dps was still higher this way.
I don't know if there's a better performance that could net more DPS, but I found firing an additional charged shot (so I already had 5 stacks before using ult) was a considerable DPS gain. Also allowed me to use ult every rotation at 100% ER without needing Lyney to catch his own particles. But just barely.
For rotation, I started Durin EQ, Fischl E/Q, Chev Q/E then quickly switch to Lyney to catch her particles and start blasting 4 CA -> Q-E.
I don't know if there is a better rotation, if so, please let me know! I'd love to see how high he can go, or if anyone else is hitting higher numbers, tell me your secrets!
Lyney at all con levels is terribly underrated. He's such a fun and good damage dealer, even if he isn't hitting the same marks as the newest characters, he's still got great potential for being almost 3 years old.
