Exactly what the title says. I know we’re getting more kits by the day each with their own load of questions so I figured I’d see if anyone wanted to ask about anything they’re unsure about. (Obviously if there’s any other skilled vixens here feel free to answer as well, just please do us all a favor and make sure you know what you’re talking about over spouting nonsense and confusing the person asking the question lmao). I also have read almost all of her appearances so if you guys have questions there I can do my best to answer those as well.

I’m well aware this is probably going to get hate bc of another post I saw where it and my commnent on it both did. While I hope that it doesn’t, I just wanted to put this here to say that if it I won’t be responding to much of it unless I think a civil conversation can be salvaged from it. This is me trying to have a civil discussion and bring myself to a sense of understanding. Also, in case anyone is wondering by the end of the question, yes I am black same as most of you I assume.

Cool? Cool. Now uh, what is this place for? Like, I know the description says discussions but like what kind exactly? Because I’ve been joined for a bit but it was in passing because I saw the name on my fyp and hit join while I was scrolling so I wouldn’t ever lose track of this place when I came back to look at it. When I did I was expecting discussions about some of the ways they do black characters in Rivals, however I was also like expecting SOME sort of i don’t know happiness?? Not the “sit down, shut up, and be happy with whatever we decide to give you” kind, but there are some really cool things in this game in relation to its black characters.

So imagine my surprise when almost all I’ve seen so far is just hate compounding upon hate and so on. And not just dev hate either, but people feeding each other’s hate. It was so much that I literally had to nope out for a while. I mean hell, almost anything I’ve said here (and I do my best to always be a pretty respectful and decent person) has been downvoted like four times each, and it’s not even me saying anything wrong (imo) it’s just me participating in the post discussion. To the point whereas someone who is black, it’s kinda turned me off to this reddit.

However I really don’t want it to. Like, the premise of this place seems hella cool, so I’d hate to have to nope out and not look back even if it’s for a little while. Which brings me back to my question, what exactly is this supposed to be? A community? An echo chamber? A rally point to figure out how to change the parts of what rivals has that *are* wrong? Am I just way off and have only seen the less happy parts of the posts? I’m all ears.

Again, please try to keep responses civil, I have little patience for more arguments. If you can’t and I don’t see any way to have a discussion with you *without* it turning into a verbal scrap, then I’m probably not going to interact much with it. Not tryna be a dick, just don’t wanna waste time.

Edit: Thank you to everyone who came by and answered, ya’ll were incredibly quick and no one was super negative about the question (or at all really). Just wanted to say thanks for answering, especially because honestly hearing ya’ll answer the way ya’ll did helped me better than seeing a whole string of “happier” posts would have.
