Shout to gambit for being the only playable black person that isn’t a duelist, he’s really being an iconoclast and breaking rules and traditions🙏❤️.
Cool pentakill I got with Storm with sensational weaken assist form cloak and dagger.
The latest Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic introduces Moon Girl, Shuri, Spider-Zero, and Zelma as the "Champions"
As a Moon Girl fan and a Champions fan, I have "mixed" feelings about this decision...
I'm really happy to see Moon Girl in this team because I wanted her public image to stay intact, and it's nice to see Marvel start promoting her alongside Devil Dinosaur in that role. Keeping them together as a duo instead of separating them is always the right and only move i want to see about them. And bringing back her original creator, Natacha Bustos, to draw this beautiful cover is just amazing. It's one of my favorite designs of the character.
But at the same time, the fact that the whole team is made up of the game's NPC characters is pretty weird.
I mean, yeah, it makes sense for her to team up with Shuri. They've already worked together in another Infinity Comic, and they're very close in the main continuity. The in-game dialogue also teased that she was interested in Spider-Zero when she talks to Spider-Man.
Zelma is the only reason that makes me feel like this team was really made to bring together all the Black female NPCs from the game, too. Maybe they already had some kind of plan for this storyline, Because it gives the impression that this team didn't form naturally, but rather that they forced it together after that "drama."
My last criticism is the fact that they're calling this team the Champions.
For people who don't know, the Champions are a superhero team created by Mark Waid during the All-New, All-Different Marvel era. After the events of Civil War II, Ms. Marvel decided to leave the Avengers with Spider-Man (Miles Morales) and Nova (Sam Alexander) to create their own team of young heroes because they were disappointed by the actions of the older heroes and the Avengers during that event, and by superhero society in general.
Moon Girl joined the team much later as a reserve member, basically someone they could call if they needed extra help.
So it's surprising that they're using the name Champions here. I think Lunella has every right to call her team that (if she did?) because she was a Champion herself in the main continuity. It's a nice reference, but it also makes me wonder whether this confirms or deconfirms the existence of Kamala Khan and the original Champions in the future.
I know most Infinity Comics aren't really canon and are mostly filler stories, but I still want Marvel to promote this. I don't want to write this comic off because these characters deserve more representation and more popularity.
Hit my first 4 ghost dashes in ranked (ignore my excitement)
It is much harder in console but doable

Kinda crazy how theirs more black women in Marvel Tokon than Rivals
Theres only 6 women in Tokon, yet we have 2 black women. Whilst in Rivals there is 19 women and only 1 black woman. Funnily enough Tokon has more black women than East Asian or White women.
((Theres also as much black characters in Tokon as Rivals. And the roster is less than half of Rivals))😷
Correct me if I'm wrong but...
I'm kind of getting the whole discourse now when it comes to balancing in this game. Playing for many seasons I didn't really notice the changes (including the lack of tanks players in comp) until this season. Season 8 has been the season where I've really noticed the disparity in tank players and bloating of kits for new characters especially DPS. After watching and reading so many takes on things I agree that tanks should be given ease to play their role. As well as I'm starting to notice that pros are giving input that might not favor the community as a whole. This can be a big problem because so many people watch and follow them.
This is what I've gathered so far from the content I've been watching/reading regarding the issues within this community. I just wanted to see if anyone like agreed or disagrees and have different perspective on the topic from what they've noticed or experienced so far.
Blade in Marvel Tokon. Maybe he'll get this look as a Skin.
Miles Concept
Ignoring the name, what are your thoughts?
Numbers are always subject to change
The amount of excuses players use to justify racism towards black characters
The amount of excuses players will come up with to pretend that black characters in marvel rivals aren't being target or mistreated never gets old. The paragraphs of ignorance.
First in-game look at the Blade "Bats getting louder" emote.
Storm - Tropical Typhoon Summer Skin Concept Art by Me
The name of the emote is really called: “Bats(horns) getting loader”😭 it’s a boys in the hood reference.
Mods removing this is kind of crazy
The post was wondering why some call netease racists and it got removed for spam even though it was a very respectful question and conversation(that i havent seen many post of)-but they'll keep the posts talking about racism up when it's not questioning us which is weird.
I think Spider-Byte should be a shield only Strategist character.
I’m thinking of how it could work but it makes sense in my mind. She’d be something like a cross between Spider-Man and Conduit from Apex Legends. If you agree, what abilities would you come up with for her?
