I didn’t really agree with Dr.Strange being a tank at first I’ll be honest. I just never thought a mage would be a good tank but this game has proved me wrong.

But for Dr.V he would be very different and interesting.

What do yall think??

I'm honestly interested in Photon, Shuri and Temper the most. I also want Misty but I dont know how they can make her unique.

Outside of adding new black characters like Blue Marvel, Spectrum/Photon, etc. They could also improve representation via skins for certain characters.

To be clear, no I am not advocating for black characters like Miles Morales to be reduced to a skin. He should be his own character. But for some with a lesser known POC variant it would be nice to see.

I could see how this could be problematic in a variety of ways, but if done right I would be open to it.

Now this for my tank lovers.

My man Bishop would be a fire tank. His weapons and mutant powers would be so sick to see/use in this game.

I can kinda see how his kit would work out but I can also see this character won’t even get a chance to join this game.

What do yall think on his placement and kit??

This is a bit harsh of an ask of you guys, but I just want a easy image to respond to people who say that the imagery of having a little girl shot at would be bad for the game. When there's a literal baby girl you can aim at and shoot already here.

Ok so my comments got downvoted in the last Luke Cage post because apparently saying Luke Cage can exist in Rivals without Danny Rand is heresy. Personally, I think it's pretty disrespectful to reduce Luke Cage to only Danny Rand's partner...so i'll say my piece.

Firstly Luke Cage was introduced completely by himself, in his own comic line. This isnt some Cloak and Dagger shit where they're introduced together. Luke Cage was created to be a solo hero

Secondly, Luke Cage has had multiple comicbooks about his own solo adventures

Thirdly Luke Cage has his own TV Show, about HIMSELF

Fourthly Luke Cage appeared in multiple different teams without Iron Fist, like the New Avengers and Mighty Avengers

To add to all of that he probably has hundreds of guest appearances in other peoples comics (Spidey, Daredevil, Punisher, Panther,etc) all by himself without Danny.

They're both their own seperate characters that teamup a lot and are best friends. But they're not Cloak and Dagger lvls of together. Luke Cage does not have to be replaced just cause Danny got replaced.

I've never heard of the concept that Luke can't be in "X" because Danny Rand isnt in it. It's so fucking dumb and reductive. Luke's powers arent dependant on Danny. He's still bulletproof and super strong.

Do I believe Luke is being added ? nah. But using Danny as an excuse is bullshit.

What if we get Victor Alvarez as Power Man? Granted, he's pretty new comparatively and doesn't have as much potential for comic skins, but he is the current Power Man, like Lin Lie is the current Iron Fist. His powers (absorbing chi from his surroundings, using it for increased durability and strength, Iron Fist style enhanced punches, body mass manipulation, personal energy fields) still lean toward tank, but have a bit more variability for a move set than the enhanced durability and strength Luke has. I liked him a lot in Al Ewing's Mighty Avengers(informed a lot of my favorite characters tbh) and while I love and still want Luke, I wouldn't mind Victor, especially if it means he gets more shine in the comics space.

Look at the end of the day. The only thing the devs really cear about is money. So if you guys play the already existing black chericters and buy the skins for them, the devs will see that there is an actual demand for them and do more stuff for them. Most of the content was already pre planned for a year, so it will take some time, but the devs will be paying attention and push more content for them. And besides, it was Disney that block moon girl from getting added to the game, according to Miller ross.

Since I saw some Shuri discussion, here is a 3D model of her found in game. She got the Gallery Girl treatment whilst being a full grown adult lol.

Edit: I envision Shuri being like a Strategist Sombra. Hacking and turning off enemy abilities using either tech or her magic.

I truly feel like these characters should’ve been in this game.

Especially Sam, he’s the new Captain America and he’s not in the game??

Not having Nick Fury in this game is a crime. And I’m not trying to hear “what can Nick Fury do” they legit put Black Widow in the game and gave her gadgets. He can do the same and more.

To have Shuri as a gaming background for a victory blows my mind. She should be a playable character. She’s the new black panther and she’s not a character?? Could you imagine her potential? With her technology and the black panther powers?? Her kit would be great.

Killmonger would go hard in this game. He could possibly be a better Black Panther, or be a tank. They can change up moves so he wouldn’t be like Black Panther.

The fact that Shuri and Killmomger aren’t in the game before a lot of these characters that’s already out is insane to me. Especially the Devil Dino.
