Can someone explain to me why some characters can parry Lars’ G-cliff while others can’t ?

I saw CBM ( Jin ) do it yesterday to Nobi-san and wanted to lab it.

I feel like Bryan and Drag has faster parries than Kazuya yet they can’t do it.

+ Azucena's and Miary's parries are practically the same

How do you lab against stuff like Taunt Jet Upper and running Giant swing ?

I wanna get better at counter playing these things but i’ve never played Bryan or King so i don’t have the execution to Record these things and lab against them
