Got a rage beat coming up to record on – those are super bass-heavy. How do you blend the vocal so it's not too prominent, but also doesn't get swallowed up?
If yes, can you share your effects chain for the bass track and the master channel to get the right tone, but without crazy distortion? I see some people using limiters, others using clippers – what else are you using on top of that?
If so, could someone advise an effects chain for the bass itself and on the master bus to get the right sound, but without heavy distortion?
