Any disadvantages like heating up or battery or cam degradation.

I'm a 3rd year student(Just into 5th sem) pursuing ece in a tier 3 college... I've actually had intrest in flight and spacecrafts....but things didn't go that way... I've found out that avionics is a branch where electronics are embedded into flight,etc....so I have a doubt that should I pick avionics if I get a good rank in gate in mtech or should I continue with other specializations in ece like vlsi, Embedded etc....or should I aim for psu's....
