1st week!

Hey people, I'm on day 8 of taking Mirtazapine. Doc prescribed 15mg for stomach problems and it works great for that. Anxiety and depression are pretty much the same, but I guess it'll take a bit more time to get that fixed.

Anyways, my head feels numb. I can fully understand that Mirtazapine blunts emotions a bit, but... I need some motivation and advice, or at least regular info- is it normal? Did anyone feel the same like I do rn?
I'm pretty much unmotivated to do anything and literally dont know what to do with myself so I spend 90% of the day on PC or phone, feels awful.

Thanks.

Gastritis and Hernia problems, please help.

Hey guys, 29m here..

I’ve been battling gastritis, a hiatal hernia, and severe anxiety for 8 months. Right now, my stomach is so overly sensitive that I get pain and pressure immediately after eating or taking a few sips of water.

Because of this, I barely drink/eat and feel dizzy, weak, and foggy all day. Being stuck at home makes my health anxiety monitor every symptom 24/7.
I also recently stopped taking Emanera 40mg so I can get tested for H. pylori- the test is gonna be in few days.

Im currently at stage where a single sip of water hurt my stomach and it's really, but really depressing..I'm losing myself.

My blood tests are completely clear and there’s no blood in my stool.

I'd appreciate any advice.. Thank you.

Cervical spine and headache

Hey everyone

I just got my cervical spine and brain MRI results back.
Head/ brain results are fully clean, nothing to report, but..

The cervicsl spine scan shows a straightened neck curve (alordosis), a congenital partial fusion at C2-C3, and some mild early disc wear with tiny bulges at C3-C4 and C6-C7 (though thankfully no nerve compression is noted on the report).

Lately, I’ve been experiencing pain (with pressure) at the back of my head thats spreading all the way to the front..Terrible brain fog, and really poor focus.
Has anyone here had a similar set of symptoms or a similar MRI? I really have no idea what to do anymore. Neuro says my nerves seems to be fine, just like reflexes.

Been to otorhinolaryngologist aswell, all good from there aswell..

Vratna kralježnica i glavobolja

Zdravo svima

M29 - Konstantan pritisak u potiljku i mantanje

Hej ekipa,

Mogu izdržati jedino ako sjedim skroz "spigano" i zavaljeno.

Title: 29M - Constant brain fog, head pressure, and swaying when eyes are closed. Anyone else?

I'm a 29-year-old guy, and for months now, I've been struggling with this chronic "spaced-out" feeling (dizziness/off-balance/brain fog) and intense pressure at the base of my skull that spreads through my whole head. I know this isn't a doctor's office and I'm not looking for an official diagnosis, I'm just desperate to hear from anyone with similar experiences! 😄

As soon as I sit in front of the PC (working or gaming—maybe my 280Hz monitor is part of the problem, I don't know) or get in a car, the dizziness and head pressure hit me instantly. It doesn't matter if I'm driving for 20 minutes or 3 hours, it's always there.

I can only survive at the PC if I sit completely slumped and tilted back in my chair. The moment I try to sit up straight and fix my posture, the symptoms get at least twice as bad.

The moment I close my eyes (like during meditation) or when I'm in a dark room, I completely lose my balance and get this awful swaying sensation, like I'm rocking on waves. General darkness or walking outside at night makes everything way harder.

Just a few sips of beer instantly trigger brutal head pressure and heavy swaying. I barely drink anyway, and I used to handle alcohol completely fine before, but now even a tiny amount is pure horror.

Having cold air from the AC blowing directly onto my face, or opening the car window while driving, is pretty much the only thing that somehow calms the dizziness and pressure down.

My ear pressure test came back perfect, but my audiogram showed a slight hearing drop in high frequencies, specifically in my right ear. I also have chronic rhinitis (using corticosteroid nasal sprays) and wear glasses for distance (-1.0 in both eyes). I do yoga and neck stretches at home, but they don't provide long-term relief.

It feels like a weird mix of cervical spine issues, inner ear (vestibular) dysfunctio, or maybe PPPD..I don't know..

Has anyone dealt with this exact or either simlar combination of symptoms?

Thanks in advance! Cheers 😄
