Marathon running 🎽 👟💨

So recently I have started running, and thought i should do a 10k or a half marathon, but i don't know the process for registering it.

1.is it online registration or offline

2.how much does it cost

3.how will i know when and where the marathons are being organised, where should I keep my eyes on to check for updates/news

4.someone recommend me a good running shoes for the marathon day , for daily training i am using a decathlon one.

5.also the jersey? Or top do I have to buy it from the registration centre ? Because for example I have seen if tcs organizes a marathon everyone runs on tcs logo jersey or I can wear whatever .

  1. Hypothetically if the marathon is being organised in Kolkata or Delhi or someplace which is not jharkhand, where I have to stay in a hotel or lodge can I carry hotel key and mobile while running because I can't leave it in my bag and i can't give my belongings to any stranger too if I'm going alone for the marathon.

Thankyou for reading, and please give your advice, opinion and guidance 🏃🏻

Guys had anyone given jlpt exam for Kolkata center? I heard that they don't provide online form fillup option, you have to do it manually in-person go there take the form fill it then go again when the exam date is announced, it's too much hassle, other center do provide online form fillup option and I head some politics is involved so it's kinda difficult to get the form too 😭, if anyone has already given the jlpt exam before help me is it worth going to Kolkata or should I choose a different center, but the thing is kolkata is the only nearest centre from jsr others are even far , also i was thinking should I book a hotel near the centre or lodge ? Which is more affordable?
