Small planes over the city at night

Anyone know why there are so many small planes flying circles over downtown at 11 at night? Happens frequently.

Trailing edge protector coming loose

Looking at an RX350 but it has the protector on the hood. The trailing edge is lifting off the hood. Is this fixable? I'd rather remove it completely if possible. Or replace it if need be. How do you deal with this? Car is 5 years old.

About to pull the trigger

Just looked at a nice nightfall mica F Sport 3, 2021. 53,000 kms. First RX350 I looked at.

Couple of questions.

It has a plastic foil hood guard (stock Lexus) to prevent chips and damage i gyess. The trailing edge is turning white or is white from some dust. What's the fix for this? I hate the look of it. How do you remove it? Or can it be replaced with a new one?

I LOVE the stereo. But is there a way to turn it on without the engine running? The sales person had me turn on the engine after the test drive to play with it.

Is there anything in particular I need to be aware of?

Thanks for any feedback!

Buying a car in Vancouver ... first time ever.

Ok, so I've been driving for 40 odd years but have always bought cars from friends. Casual conversations ending in a walk to the garage, a handshake and a different car. This time I'm after something more specific and will have to go through a "reputable dealer" (Note:irony) and will probably buy something 5 or so years old. I know I need to check Carfax, negotiate an "out the door"price and make sure I provide the allure of financing till the bitter end, lest my negotiating powers diminish. Aside from all that, are there tips and tricks I should keep at hand? It's not an industry known for stand-up business sadly so want to be as prepared as I can. Thanks for any tips.
