Nobody seems to have updated to 26.6.1 so far, for the people who have updated it do you notice any change?

I do have 2 laptop ram laying around which is two sticks of 8gb DDR5 4800mhz total 16gb. Came in my hp omen laptop which upgraded to 32gb within a week. What should be an ideal price that isnt too bad for either side?

I’m planning to install Asahi Linux on my MacBook with 8 GB of RAM, and I have a couple of questions before I make the switch.
I’ve been a long-time macOS user, but I’ve finally grown tired of the closed ecosystem. These days my workflow is pretty simple—it mostly consists of working with Word documents and consuming media—so I don’t really need to stay tied to macOS anymore.
That said, I’m so used to the macOS interface that I’d like my Linux desktop to look and feel as close to it as possible while I transition.
My questions are:
If I customize Linux to resemble macOS (dock, top bar, animations, themes, icons, etc.), will that noticeably impact performance or memory usage on an 8 GB Mac?
Between KDE Plasma and GNOME, which would you recommend for this setup?
My priorities are:
A macOS-like look and feel.
Smooth performance on 8 GB RAM.
Good battery life and responsiveness.
Stability over having lots of extra features.
I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have used Asahi Linux on similar hardware, especially if you’ve customized it to resemble macOS. Thanks in advance!

For those who updated to ios 26.6 do you notice it? For the people in ios beta 27, whats your experience?

I usually do a clean install using mac whenever a generational update comes along. So thought about doing the same for ios 27. But the thing is in ios 26.6 update note, its saying that the update optimises the spotlight index to prepare for ios 27. So if i do the update to ios 26.6 and later clean install ios 27, will the index happen from start again? Is it better to update to ios 27 as incremental ota update?

Its been 3 months since i started using minox on my beard and moustache, i do see a small gain on my beard, but the issue is i see a slight reduction in density of moustache. Not uploading pics as i dont have former pic of my moustache. Unlike beard i do have a full moustache, but now i do feel like i can slightly see the upperlip here and there. Is there any chance that minox causes this? Should i stop applying it on my moustache and keep it only on my beard?
