Looking for a Reason license

Hey everyone,

I’m interested in getting Reason, but I’m hesitant to buy it without being able to properly live with it first.

The 7-day trial isn’t really enough for me. Weirdly, knowing that the trial is going to expire makes me not want to invest time into learning the software and building things with it. I’d rather have enough time to actually integrate it into my workflow and see if it’s something I genuinely want to keep using.

So I thought I’d ask here before buying a new license: is anyone looking to sell or transfer their Reason license?
I’d be interested in a reasonable offer. Thanks!

I like every DAW and it’s becoming a problem

I have a problem: I genuinely like almost every DAW I use.

Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Reason… I can find things I love about all of them. Every time I spend some time with one, I start thinking *“maybe this is the one I should stick with.”*

And instead of making music, I end up comparing DAWs, watching tutorials, reading forums, looking at workflows, thinking about plugins and features…

Basically, I’m spending more time contemplating my DAW than actually making music.

Has anyone else gone through this? How did you finally pick one and just **commit to making music instead of optimizing the setup?**

Looking for fresh arrangement ideas

Curious to see how different producers think. Based on this idea, what arrangement would you build around it? Any creative twists or unexpected sections?

Can I transfer the Pro Tools Studio Perpetual license from an MBOX Studio bundle without selling the hardware?

Hi everyone,

I own an **Avid MBOX Studio** that came with a **Pro Tools Studio Perpetual** license.
In my Avid account, I have a perpetual license, and in iLok it appears as **“Pro Tools Studio Perpetual”**. However, the license details say **“Allow Transfer: No”**, and the **Transfer License** option is disabled.

My question is:
**Has anyone successfully transferred only the Pro Tools Studio Perpetual license from an MBOX Studio bundle through Avid’s Transfer of Ownership process, while keeping the MBOX Studio hardware?**
Or is the perpetual license permanently tied to the MBOX bundle and only transferable if the entire bundle (hardware + licenses) is transferred?

I’m looking for real-world experiences from anyone who has actually done this.

Thanks!
