Why is one leaf turning yellow and a bit soft? I've had this plant for 2 months. I watered it once or twice. I did not repot it. The damage below the pink coating was there when I bought it, could it be because of that? The little black dots on the bottom in the 2nd pic is just where the drainage holes are, not sure why its black but it seems fine? Could I just trim it if nothing helps? Pls help me save her.
I got her a month ago. She seems mostly fine, pushing 2 new leaves, but I am not sure if she is rootbound and needs repoting?
If I should repot, advice is welcome. I was gonna use slightly bigger pot, not touching roots or existing soil and put her in a mix of equal part coco choir, orchid bark, perlite and regular plant soil and some worm castings.
Why are there some kind of ridges on my calathea leaves? Also some of the leaves are drooping (the ridgy one is drooping especially). I try to water it when the soil feels just slightly damp in the middle (every few days) with filtered/distilled water. I got it about a month ago and want to repot it because I see roots on the bottom, but I am afraid to stress it out further.
